I met a really nice guy that really likes me but, I'm trying to get past our height difference. I'm 5'5 and he's 5'3. I have a good sense of humor, so rude comments will be accepted.

I've known a really nice guy for years now.. we've been out of touch for a while and recently ran into eachother online. So, I remembered that he is shorter than me- we talked about it and he says he doesn't care. I don't either. Our first date is quicky approaching and I'm sooo nervous that once we see eachother for the first time in a long time that height might be an issue. What's ur take on this? Should I be this nervous or should I just take his word that it's not an issue? I'm 5'11 and he's 5'9"... We have been talking on the phone and texting and IMing a lot and we are very compatible in that sense, I just hope we are as physically compatible as we are in other ways.

My wife is always moving my things and taking my spare change. I don't understand. When I place something in a particular place, I do it intentionally so I can find it later.

But, no. My wife always finds a "better" place to put it. So, I always have to call her and find out where my things are. It's very annoying. And sometimes she can't remember where she put it. I tell her time and time again it pisses me off, but she still does is. I think it's a control thing.
Further, if I need money for the toll or for the parking meter, I never have it cause she takes that to. Going nuts.

We have a friend who has become quite a loner...

It all started back a few months ago when our buddy Jake brought his pet python over to show everyone. We didnt' know that our friend would react so negativly to snakes...

Anyways, our friend (who we refer to as 'Bad News' because of his street credibility) has started staying at home and not getting out.

We stopped by and noticed that he is raising SEWER RATS in his basement!!! He feels the rats will protect him from the python (these things are HUGE).

We have tried to talk him out of it, but he will have nothing to do with it. He keeps referring to us as "Beer Bellied Sharecropers" and slams the door in our face.

We have tried to involve his family, but he doesn't talk to them anymore (something about his sister-in-law giving 'favors' to the president of the family business which cost him a promotion).

This recent behavior is strange, how can we help him???

I know this may sound cheezy 4 a guy but im Lstening to walk away by paula deanda ryt now.This song comforts me. Me and my gf broke up lastnight after 1 year & 8 mnths.So dis is my 1st day without her in my life.It feels so weird and sad.We broke up because i felt the sudden change in her.Shes not as sweet ,thoughtful,caring and loving as before.I was doing to much and she wasn't doing enuf.When we're having a missunderstanding and it's her fault,she wouldn't bother to say sorry or comfort me.She would just let me go home so sad,demoralized and with that weird feeling in me and she wouldn't try to communicate w/me for days until i make the 1st move.She never used to be like that.I dont know how she could do that to me,maybe because i showed her 2 much LOVE.I never thought that this can happen to a guy,especially in a guy like me.(Take note) I have been Faithful to her ever since..I still dont know what to do.I just hope some day she would sing me this song.And realize all her mistkes.

if you are having money problems and already working 40 hours a week, should a stay at home mum of 2 find a job to help pay the bills? even if it's only a couple hours a week.

i've fallen in love with a very close female friend we've always being good together our parents hav given their blessings should we decide to get married. I've told her i fancy her but i'm not getting the response i've being expecting.
she keeps saying there's someone already there but i klnow very well it's not true.
Really confused , don't want to destory the friendship, her mum keeps encouraging me not to give up but she on the other hand isn't showing any positive sign

my mom hit me lastnight. i ahve a big bruse now and yeah. i left and went to my friends house. i have never meet my dad but we talk and i just started talking to hijm about 5 months ago and he wants to send a plan ticket so i can leave minnesota and go to california. and yeah i cant stand being with my mom and i have a cutting problem and she knows and dosent care and i need help she dosent realize it. and she had been drinking WAY too much. please help me

I have a crush on one of my BEST friends and We kissed and at first I liked it now I am upset with my self for kissing him cause he might think all I want to be is friends with benifets..But last night he put his arm around me in FRONT of all his friends and asked me a question then he sat by me (when we were going home) and he put his legs on me cause his foot hurt and mine did too so when he moved his feet I put mine on him and he held my feet up so they wouldn't fall..Then he gave me a Big hug before he got off. There's this girl at the supermarket I go to who's just awesome "at least in my eyes" and she seems friendly enough. I never talked to her but we've exchanged a few "knowing" looks.

The problem is; I keep very close relations with my family, and they are - alas - a few of the world's greatest snobs. Their concept of class & family heritage is that of 16 century nobility.

I don't - and I never- shared their pretentiousness but I know for sure they will never approve of this girl & might as well treat her badly. Financially, I need nothing from them, thanks to my own fine career & a "birth grant" given by Grand dad. But I love them dearly & wouldn't want to cause a rift.

What to do? I like the girl, & I want to keep my family

This has two parts. First I'm nearly in love with this girl. I started to like her and it made me moody. She figured out that it was because of how i felt and made me tell her. Then basicaly told me that she wasn't ready to date. We are really good friends and we talk on the phone all the time. We interact really well and i'm ready to try again. She shot down my arch rival not to long ago with the same reasoning. I'm getting ready to move to another state. Should i try again and try to get it to work? Or do I just let her slip through my fingers? It would kill me to ust not try, but I don't want to make things wierd between us. What should I do?

I never loved her. she was just my buddy. We never had sex.Both of us came from broken homes & had been in broken relation- my ex-girlfriend had just left me, she was just divorced. She was never my type. It was a relation of convenience, but over the yrs shes gotten very possessive of me & wont let me go. she even stops others from interacting with me. she threatens suicide / revealing my life details etc., if I split with her. i just don't know how to get out of this mess.

ok, heres the scenerio...two people that you know well, and see often end up dating secretly. You never would associate the two of them together because they dont seem to fit as a couple in your mind. They also dont give you any reason to think they might be dating. Then about 4 mos. later, you hear from someone that they have been dating for 4 mos and didnt tell you.
Why do people do this? Dont they realize that they are lying to the people they care about? By hiding the info, they are making you feel like a fool.... In this scenerio, there is no real reason for the lie, its not like they are from opposing families like Romeo and Juliet, they just didnt tell. This has happened in my life several times...why cant people just clue me in??
