I met a really nice guy that really likes me but, I'm trying to get past our height difference. I'm 5'5 and he's 5'3. I have a good sense of humor, so rude comments will be accepted.

Height is not important, I just answered a question addressing this same issue. I am 5'11", my husband is 5'9 1/2", he is confident, funny, and puts it on me..if you know what I mean..(smile) We've been married for almost 20 years and when we go dancing, I still wear a pair of sexy heels. Height doesn't matter, you might pass up the opportunity of happiness for a few inches.

Of course. A short guy would would have to be insecure enough. My boyfriend is 5'7'' (at 29) and he's just a little taller than me (I'm 5'4'', maybe) and he's so insecure and embarassed by that, but i think it's sad. I think he's sexy just the way he is and I like having a guy i don't have to look up at; it's nice to be able to look him in the eye. Anyway, as long as you're approximately the same height, i don't know why it should matter so much. I'd understand more if he was 5'2'' and you were 6'1'',or something, but even then,you'd have to think about how he feels.

If he was a great guy and someone I could see as having a relationship with hell yeah. Height means nothing if you two enjoy being with each other, he makes you laugh and you have fun. Alot of women date guys that are shorter than they are. The questions is not if we would but can you date him. Can you except the height difference and not let it interfere with having a relationship with him. Obviously its not a issue for him

No, not even 2 inches. I'm 5 ft. 1" I believe. I'm 13 so yeah. But a lot of people think I should date this guy and they think I like him, but he's shorter than me. So, NO! well, okay if you're really into him i guess it's an exception.

Nope. That's one of my criteria, he's definitely gotta be taller than me, since I'm way too short myself. I've seen some hot guys who are shorter, but I don't think I could go out with one. I just need the security of a taller man! Besides, if I went out with a shorter guy, who'd reach things for me? And if a guy was shorter than me, most likely he'd be a dwarf, no kidding!

I guess it could be ok but dont where tall shoes I couldnt date a guy shorter then me it justl drive me nuts cause I like to where high heels so it would look strange I have a friend that is 5'5 and Im 5'8 and as hot as he was I just couldnt date him

I think it is alright, I mean if you like the kid dont pass it up becuase he is short. What is if was really something good. Dont get stuck wondering, it is NEVER a good think. However for me i cant do it. Its just weird to lay with someone who is shorter and smaller than yourself. I feel lieki am the man cuddling with the woman.. just WEIRD! But if you like him go for it!

well straight from looks no, but if i got to know him and he was really great, then of course, and since you said you had a good sense of humor about it then you can be the ones on your date telling people your taking your little brother to the movies : )

There is only a 2 inch difference and if he is a good man i would think after time you wouldn'tr even notice.

Your height and his is fine . Now I couldn't date a short guy cause I'm only 4'11 and I wouldn't want anyone smaller then me .
