My first memories as a child are of mothers with their own children in prams looking at me with a jealous admiration.
My mother would be chatting to her friends whilst their children wouldbe trying to undo the straps of their buggie and get closer to me in mine.
Three words stick in my mind: "isn't he gorgeous"
I have had thousands of women in my life but my extreme good looks have proven to be a barrier to any long term relationship.
Women would often fight over me and men beat me up .when I was young.Isoon relialized that I would have to take up body building but this unfortunately only added to my beauty: both men and womenwould lust after me .
I am now in my fifties and my good looks remain.I have a good head of hair and hardly a line on my face.
But for me life has been a torment.
So all you ugly guys don't envy me

I know this is a kind of nasty subject, but I'd really like to know. I have this friend We used to best friends for 14 years now. But yet I am not sure if she is still my best friend and if I should still keep her as my friend. She is acting weird.

She has very strict parents. Even though she is almost 19 years she is not allowed to do anything. She has to ask for everything and her parents almost always say "no". Even if she justs wants to visit me and I do live in the same house....

She always was mad about her parents but now she suddenly changed. She now says that her parents are right and that its ok if they forbid her everything. She says that her parents cannot allow her stuff because then her younger sisters would want to do it too. (They aren't even that young! 16 and 17!)
I said this was stupid but she really meant it!

What is the matter with her? Should I just forget about her? I mean what a friend is that, who cannot visit me or go shopping with me or something because her parents forbid her to?

I want to totally get my boyfriend to want me and then I want to dump him. am extremely shy & the fact that I never seem to work up the nerve to look people in the face is become ever more evident to me. Even if i hookup with someone, i noticed that i can't look the guy in the face (you are probably asking, if you are so shy how are you hooking up?...well im in college and alcohol is usually involved)
I also notice that it is WORSE after I get close to them, in the hookup scenario. I may be able to flirt a little, but then when it becomes clear about what may happen and after it does happen, then i can't look at their faces.
In general, if i don't know a person well i find it hard to look at their face. I work at a food service place and sometimes it is hard for me to look at the customer when i am handing them their change for instance.
I guess i am just afraid of what i might see if i have to look at them. I am afraid the facial expression will be negative.
Does anybody know what i am talking about? have experience? what about the hookup thing? help?

here we go: i like this girl, a lot, and we get along great. the thing is however over the holidays she told me we couldnt be more than freinds at that point cuz she still liked another guy, who didnt like her back and told her to wait a while to see, but of course that i was a really great guy but we should use this experience to improve our relationship. a couple days after this she asked me why i was a little depressed and i told her cuz i though i had a shot at something with you and just realized that probably wont happen...to which she said well you never know. and then left. from that point on we got closer. the other day i asked how she was and she said she was happy she was on break cuz she could straten things out and i asked what kinda things, and she said well people.especially moving on from this guy cuz she was tired of waiting and i told her she deserved better anyhow which she found sweet. so what exactly should i do, wait a while, ask again, move on...nothing...tnk

the time he wanted to commit suicide, I told him he needed professional help and he only wanted to talk to me. When he would feel really bad I told him that he was feeling like he wanted to, and then I once told him that if I was going to call the police and he told me if the police showed up at his house he would have definitly gone through with it. He is 29 yrs old & well educated. I went through many nights with anxiety and panic attacks. Other then that, he was respectful to me, never put me down or talked down to me. HOWEVER, the reason the felt this way was b/c he had a child w/ a one night stand before we met. Of course, I helped him come to terms for him to leave me to be with the mom. What was worst, he talked about me and was cold and hurtful and acted as though what he went thu and put me thru NEVER HAPPENED! I lost it. I cried and wanted to confront him, and he told me that if I needed help to talk to a pychologist:( Can u believe this. And I did. How would you cope?

eat/eating the top layer of your wedding cake on your 1 year anniversary? our 1 year is comming up on april 1. just 3 weeks away!! we have saved ours. we used one of thoes freezer sealers that suck all the air out before you freeze something, so im hoping it wont be freezer burned.

anyway, just wondering to thoes who did save their top layer, did you eat it? was it good or did it taste like cardboard?

the lady, that made our cake offered to make us a new one for our anniversary, but since i hate her and she almost made our cake fall over at the wedding(long story), i will not be using her services.

we are going out of town for our anniversary, and dont think we need to bring the whole entire layer. we were thinking about cutting it in half. has anyone done this? if so, how did it work out?
