what to do??

here we go: i like this girl, a lot, and we get along great. the thing is however over the holidays she told me we couldnt be more than freinds at that point cuz she still liked another guy, who didnt like her back and told her to wait a while to see, but of course that i was a really great guy but we should use this experience to improve our relationship. a couple days after this she asked me why i was a little depressed and i told her cuz i though i had a shot at something with you and just realized that probably wont happen...to which she said well you never know. and then left. from that point on we got closer. the other day i asked how she was and she said she was happy she was on break cuz she could straten things out and i asked what kinda things, and she said well people.especially moving on from this guy cuz she was tired of waiting and i told her she deserved better anyhow which she found sweet. so what exactly should i do, wait a while, ask again, move on...nothing...tnk

Ask her out again. If you don't get a date, then I would move on. Sounds like she may be trying to hint it at ya since her and the other guy didn't work. I'd go for it. Worse that can happen is she says no and then you know where you stand at least. She might just say yes.
