Sounds to me there is an underlying problem. Only she can answer.
First without being too personal, what is her age?
Does she have any extra curricula activities? Is she home 24/7?
Could she feel smothered? Closed in?
Is she happy within herself? Of coarse these may not be answered by you. You will only be guessing but if you ask do not take this personal.
Is she claustrophobic?
Do you have children and she is only going out for family reasons. Not for herself.
Many factors to think about then the service question that you are asking. Don't yell or fight Talk. Be patient, ask the right questions. What are the right questions? You will know if one listens intuitively.
Wish I could be of more help, I can if I knew more

Question to you: What's wrong with wanting to go outside and opening the drapes? I love being outside and I never close my drapes.Love the sunshine and seeing what's going on. Don't understand why she would be nagging about these things, unless they are things she can't do.

Yes, there is a way. Leave her for a few days.
I went through a period of time where I was an unsufferable b*tch and my husband said he was leaving me, and he walked out the door and didn't come back for a week. I was devastated. I lost weight during that week and I was so depressed. It woke me up, that's for sure.

Landau, dont you think she is trying to get your attention?? The things that she is trying to ask you is the things that annoyed you, stop and sit her and ask her what it is that you did for het to keep asking you all this things which she can do herself. Ask her is she wants attention from you all she have to do is be nice and it will go from there, not treating you like one of the maid that never get paid,............don't let this get to you, she knows that it does, next time she ask you again, make an excuse, and see what she will do.................good luck!!

She can't nag if she can't open her mouth, I agree with the first poster. Duct tape has many great uses.
