After seeing a spot on the Today Show about hookup culture (wherein it is revealed that young women are behind a lot of the new casual sex culture) I am confused and angry. As long as I can remember there has been this battle to label guys who went 'conquesting' women as bad. Now that the women are doing the same thing it is seen as something good, the women are exercising 'empowerment'. What the hell!

Of course I've been aware of this stuff for a while but it's just rubbing salt into a wound. I was raised to respect and treat women as equals and now what I've got to look forward to is more than likely being treated like a piece of meat.

What do you all think?

Ok so my little sister(just turned six) had her b-day party at a gymnastics place, we had been there before for her friends b-days. The guy in charge of the party remembered me from a past party where we talked some and flirted and stuff. This time he was even more flirty and we hung out more, he and my cousin threw me in a foam pit(they didn't believe me when I told them I’d already been in twice). He was also doing back flips into the foam pit, which he hadn't done at the other party (showing off or just having fun?) I had SO much fun being with him. Now all I can think about is him, it took me an hour to get to sleep last night because I couldn't stop thinking about him. I left a message at the gym with my number so he could call me. Did I do the right thing? Was he really interested or was he just being nice cause it was my sister’s party?(just to clarify i was not hanging all over/devoting all my time to him.my sister had atleast 10 friends at the party so not a lot of free time)

He's done so much for me--from spending 26 hours straight riding a Greyhound bus just so he could come visit me for a week while we were engaged to enlisting in the Army so he could support me (so that I could stay home with Jack and not work). What are some creative, original, and not sexual ways that I can show my gratitude and love for him?

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND!
He's stuck on an Army base 24/7 and cannot come home. Ever. Period. I see him for 1-3 hours per day, and almost all day on weekends. But he *CANNOT LEAVE POST* and therefore CANNOT COME HOME. No cooking dinners, no romantic cuddling. (cries). That's part of the reason it needs to be CREATIVE and ORIGINAL.

Well I am 13 and this one girl really llikes me (i mean really likes me) but I don't really like her the way she likes me but I don't want to be mean, and say "No I don't want to date you" but I don't want to go out with her and there is no way I can avoid her cause she is always there but not really in a stalking kind of way. Now don't get me wrong she is one of my friends and everyone says we should go out, personally I think the time you should even kind of start dating is like during high school and even then it shouldn't be to serious. But I don't know what I should do, say "Yes, I'll date you" or say "No, I don't want to date you". I really like to know what you guys think

Often times I feel that the way I take good care of my partners is not good enough for him to become happy. Yeah, I serve him his breakfast every morning! I take good care of his stuffs and all of the chores that a wife should do. But I feel that their is something much better than that that's why Im asking because I can't figure it out. Girls, here's the scenario:

You have been experiencing a great deal of pain lately. You have a breakdown and just lay in bed crying your heart out. Your boyfriend gets home and finds you lying in bed crying. He holds you in his arms, gives you advice, and literally kisses your tears away.

You break out crying very hard. This is the first time your boyfriend has ever seen you this way. He just can't hold it in. He can't bare seeing you this way. His eyes tear up. One of his tears falls on your face, and you notice it. He isn't weeping, but silently tearing.

1. What would you girls think if your boyfriend teared up a little bit because he couldn't bare to see and feel you suffering?

2. Would you think of him as less of a man? Would you view it as "weak"?

Okay, so I'm 'seeing' a WONDERFUL guy. He's amazing. I really like him alot, and he says he really likes me. We are intimate, well, once. We act like we're dating. We are married since 3 yrs and he comes from a poor family. Now he wants to build a bunglow and buy car for his parents who mak around 25000 Rs a month which is good enough to live a living. My ex Andy is my 1st true love, and its been 3 months since we broke up!!! Well, of course he's moved on quicker than me, and I have already gotten another bf, his name was Peter, but I broke up with Peter cuz I decided I wanted to be alone for a while. Well now Andy has found himself a girl, and from what I've heard, she is prettier than me, and he finds her more interesting and he says shes "perfect". I looked at Andy like I was going to cry, and I feel like I am, and I dont know how to let him be happy without me feeling jelous and hurt! I love going out to the bar or club with my girls for drinks and dancing. My boyfriend refuses to go with me because he doesn't like going out clubbing. He thinks I want to go out and get attention from other guys but i love my boyfriend and other guys just don't interest me. I'm 22 and i love to go out and drink and party on the weekends. Is this such a bad thing. He says I have an alcohol problem but I only drink on the weekends. He picks a fight with me everytime I want to go out and party with my friends.
