Ok so my little sister(just turned six) had her b-day party at a gymnastics place, we had been there before for her friends b-days. The guy in charge of the party remembered me from a past party where we talked some and flirted and stuff. This time he was even more flirty and we hung out more, he and my cousin threw me in a foam pit(they didn't believe me when I told them I’d already been in twice). He was also doing back flips into the foam pit, which he hadn't done at the other party (showing off or just having fun?) I had SO much fun being with him. Now all I can think about is him, it took me an hour to get to sleep last night because I couldn't stop thinking about him. I left a message at the gym with my number so he could call me. Did I do the right thing? Was he really interested or was he just being nice cause it was my sister’s party?(just to clarify i was not hanging all over/devoting all my time to him.my sister had atleast 10 friends at the party so not a lot of free time)

Some big details i need to add. My mom has already oked it. She said as long as we aren't doing "it" she doesn't have a problem with it. And just for future refrence, I am a *HUGE* believer in abstinence. Most of my friends said i should not have done this because i am 16 and he is 20. to me 4 years is not a big diffrence. was it a bad thing to do?

16 to 20 is huge! (24 to 28 or later, not as much) what happens when he gets a year older and wants to go drinking at bars?

First thing I'd do, is be up front with him and tell him he's not gettin any. If he's ok with that, then go for it, sounds like fun. If he's gonna say something like "we'll see"... then be careful. Most people simply can't go back in the physical part of relationships, so if he's slept with several of his past girlfriends, then I'd proceed very carefully if you want to keep your belief.

Usually older guys are not interested in a younger girl and just want to be nice. Now I can't help you that much because I haven't seen you talk with him but, it sounds like he just wanted a friendship.Leaving your number can promote that so don't worry about that.Maybe when your 20 and he is 24 that friendship may turn into a relationship.Well, hope this helps.

You sound like a great gal, but a 20 year old might have a problem calling you, as dating you would be illegal for him! 4 years isn't a big difference when you're a little older, but it is when you're 16. So, if he doesn't call, don't feel "down", he may just be saying to himself "if she were only 2 years older!"

it doesn't matter if it was right or wrong now the damage is already done all you can do now is wait and if it was meant to be it will be and he'll call you but i'm sorry guys only have two things on there mine women and money and i don't think his heart would be in the right place when it came to dating you. and i wanted to save myself for marriage just like you and guess what i'm 17 with a baby so sometimes you break vows to yourself when you think your in love and well i think you should just wait and see what happens if he calles you back great but if he doesn't i would move one good luck

It's kind of ,not a good thing, doesn't sound right, i mean it sounds good wen 28 and 24 yr old dating but 16 and 20..just doesn't sound right =\..and he probably has a girl..u knw boys will be boys they do their stuff just to look cool, and u shouldn't have left a message!
someone else might get ur number, u should've gave him ur number in person, but still......its ur choice

no but remeber you are jail bait to him so be very careful cause if your mom finds out your doing more than kissing she could have him arrested for statutory rape.but if he returns your call go out get to know eachother but leave the sex out of it until your 18 or he could get into a lot of trouble

you shouldn't have given him your number unless he asks for it.i just feel that since he is much older [ four years!] he should be taking the initiative.

it probably would have been better to give your number to him in person but i see no harm in it.
