Well I am 13 and this one girl really llikes me (i mean really likes me) but I don't really like her the way she likes me but I don't want to be mean, and say "No I don't want to date you" but I don't want to go out with her and there is no way I can avoid her cause she is always there but not really in a stalking kind of way. Now don't get me wrong she is one of my friends and everyone says we should go out, personally I think the time you should even kind of start dating is like during high school and even then it shouldn't be to serious. But I don't know what I should do, say "Yes, I'll date you" or say "No, I don't want to date you". I really like to know what you guys think

I think even though you have a friendship, you knowing she likes you might cause you to drift apart if you don't give her an answer, so avoiding her is not a good idea. If you don't want to go out with her than say so.. you telling her a lie and going out with her will only end in bad stuff happening, and neither of you being happy. You should tell her exactly how you feel about the situation, and what you think should happen.. be it you stay friends or move on. Hope it helps.

no.. thats never good. i did that and it turned out worse for both of us, and ruined our friendship. just be like, i dont wanna ruin anything between us right now, and I really dont wanna date anybody right now. Also, i agree with u. younger dating, is pointless.. its pretty much you call eachother at night and say hi in the hallways at school. its never actually boyfriend and girlfriend till your older and more mature.

Just tell her i think we shouldnt ruin our really nice friendship by dating. just hang out and maybe later it can happen but i cant guarantee you that. If you really dont like her in that way better stay friends than hate eachother. i think she would really prefer the truth from you.

i'm 14 but anyways if u tell her no she will be devastated, maybe, but if u say yes u'll be lying to urself and her
just tell her how u really feel about her like i" i just want to be friends " or something like that but try to let her down easy

just dont tell her that you dont wanna date her just tell her that she is not your type is you just wanna be friends with her just be as honest as you can with her but not be mean
