I think that you are doing a great job in caring for your husband. But, what I need to ask, is how much time do you two spend with each other? I really think that both parties should show appreciation, respect, and love.
No couple is perfect, but you can make it perfect by just doing the above things and he can do.
I would consider on getting these two great books called, "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" and "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage".

I think you're a great wife!!! But I have a question for you; Why do you feel like you are not being a good wife? I hope is not because you feel inferior, or that you don't deserve all he gives you.
A suggestions, I think for most men, making their wives happy makes them happier. Offer him opportunities to make you happy; let him do little things for you too, and ENJOY LOVE!!!

Well, I show my husband by telling him I love him all the time. I support anything he wants to do. I run his bath water just the way he likes it. I fix him his meals just the way he likes it. And every nite before we go to sleep he loves it when run my finger tips on his head it helps him relax and then I try to give him a back massage every nite ecspecially when he has had a stressful day.

Ask yourself these 2 questions:
If i did not do all those things for him would he still love me?
Do I feel like I have to do these things for him so he will love me?
Hint:
the answer to the first one should be
yes,
the answer to the 2ed one should be
no.
To be a loving wife all you have to do is love him with all your heart, not all your back,

This kind of service can be rendered even by mother or sister. A man needs something more from his wife.

no matter how hard you can try....no one is perfect! you sound like you are already the loving wife....if you feel that you are not and need to improve ask your husband if you have any faults in his eyes then you'll know what you need to work on.

You have to stay respectable. Dont lower yourself to being a servant. Your better than that. Even if he is the dominant one, you have to maintain your place as a force in the relationship or it will not last.

i think you may feel a void because you're doing chores. yeah they need to be done, but they aren't fulfilling and you never really feel like you've done anything. what you want is to be romantic and surprising. leave him love poems in his lunch. when you're shopping and you see somethign that reminds you of him, buy it for him. massage him, bathe him, anything that pleases him.
