I didn't know she was with someone until after I asked her out...we've already got a date for a basketball game and a concert a week after that....I am told her relationship isn't serious.....should I just chill with her and see how things go, or should I cancel?

I don't really get to talk to this girl I like that much and I remember girls like recieving and sending notes to one another in highschool or some do. I was wondering if at my age would it be acceptable to send and recieve notes or have girls grown out of that stage by now? I just don't want to do something childish and seem like a little kid to her or something.

My partner has been suffering with a cough and cold.
(all be it a nasty one)
But god, it's like every minit he has to make it known just how bad he feels.
Everytime he walks in the room,
on the way out,
first thing in the morning,
last thing at night,
moan, moan, moan
I'm reaching the stage where i feel like saying
"Oh shut the F*** up, you stupid pathetic excuse for a man"
Is your man the same, or have i really got a pathetic excuse for a man?

I live in downtown Orlando, FL and although there is a lot to do it is hard to actually meet poeple with the same interests. I am into skateboarding events because of my 16yr old son and I am a Wiccan. I am looking for other women to hang out with, go biking or to the beach, movies, concerts, hiking, boating or just about anything.

i live in nashville, i met her in puerto rico while i was playing basketball 1 year ago, and she left her job and moved back to tennessee for me while i was at work she found a txt message to another girl that said "i miss u" and another that said "why wont u kiss me" but it was just a joke to the girl and i wasnt serious and she didnt believe me, and thought i was cheating and bought a ticket and went to her sisters house in Orlando. We have been together for a year, this is the FIRST fight we have ever had..She said she was never coming back and could never trust me again. She left some things in my house, but said that she wanted me to "mail" them to her. this is the second time she found a message like this, I have never cheated on her...im am just a flirt. I am lost without her, how do i get her back? I now know i was wrong and am finished with flirting. I am thinking about giving her about 10 days and driving there and saying im sorry. Is that a good idea? what should i do?

I am having a real problem latley with people around my work place talking bad about other people. These people are my friends and I really don't like what these people say. I snapped this morning and told them to "stop talking about people" but I don't think that was the rite way to handle that. Is there another way I can get my point across that I don't apprecite them talking about people like that and around me? I work in the office of a big plant and they are talking about others that I work with in a bad way, critisizing everything they do but always to me and not to them.

to theirmom and they even are close physically. My fiancee says "one brother in a Latin family usually is that way with their mom, even though my brother's weird anyway." So, in a nutshell, my 28yr old fiancee doesn't get along with his older 32yr old brother because they're very different, just so you guys know their relationship is not strong. So, this guy came over to fix our computer and he was nice and they were trying to make small talk of it, since they barely talk, and my fiancee's brother made a joke that went: "...yea, he was a nice kid and good at the computer. I don't know about the way he was looking at mom's body though lol"............ok, this to me was disgusting because first of all, who makes a sexual joke about their mom and second his mom is 64, she's old like a real grandma is and it doesn't make sense to make a sexual joke about her even if you were a stranger on the street. She's not a sexy milf..even my fiancee's was uncomfortable about the joke, what's thismean

My brother is getting married. My husband, myself and my three young children are all in the bridal party. We have incurred a lot of expense purchasing dresses, shoes, tux's etc, not to mention gifts and other expenses associated with the wedding day. The sister of the bride is planning a shower at a restaurant and has now asked all the girls in the bridal party to pitch in towards the cost. Is this proper etiquette? I always thought the bride's family paid for the shower.

I am not being isolated by family but, I have a best friend who is married to my stb exes best friend. I no longer feel comfortable talking to her about what is going on. She tries to be there and calls to ask how I'm doing and if I want to talk and I want to talk I just cannot talk to her about this. I really want to maintain the friendship but, want to make some friends and meet new people.

I had enough with all these "Man are all the same" expressions, so here come the big question for all you ladies - have you ever cheated?
I am curious as what drives a woman to cheat, care to share if you want to.

OK, I kinda posted my story as an answer to someone else's question this morning about her boyfriend not sleeping in the same bed with her. Anywhoo-Here's what I want to know-Is it foolish/naive of me to not be suspicious of my boyfriend of 7 years? He has his own business and often comes home late, or comes home for a few hours and is then out all night. This morning he came home in time for me to leave for work (5:30am). This is not an isolated incident. I trust him, but am I being blind and foolish? We have two kids together and like any relationship we have had our ups and downs, but there are other things that concern me like the fact that he has been sleeping on the couch for over a year. He gives excuses for why he doesn't like sleeping in the bed with me but definitely finds me when he wants sex. Sometimes I feel like a fool and other times I just feel like that's how he is and that's how our relationship is. Am I nuts? Does anybody else live this way?
