I had enough with all these "Man are all the same" expressions, so here come the big question for all you ladies - have you ever cheated?
I am curious as what drives a woman to cheat, care to share if you want to.

I have cheated and have regularly had affairs with married men, in fact they used to be my ''partner'' of choice as it really meant no strings fun and frolics. Luckily no one found out and never will do as far as I am concerned, apart from if they can see through my thin veneer of a user id!! I think if more women were honest there would be a lot more yes' than no's. I think my most recent round of cheating was caused by feeling completely stifled in my relationship and almost wanting to prove that I was still my own person and I could do what the hell I wanted...... sad, but true! Also, as a pitiful excuse, I hadn't been very well for quite some time and to tell the truth, it made me feel better to not have to discuss being ill or any of the mundane things that go with a long term relationship, I was just me at that moment, with no past and no future, if you get what I mean. Hope that answers your question?!

Honestly, I have. I wasn't in a really serious relationship but, I still did it. The guy that I was with was very clingy and I couldn't really do anything. He was obsessive and I didn't like that too much. I had liked my neighbor for a while and one night I was with him and it just happened. But I am just as much to blame because I wanted it to. My boyfriend at the time was getting to the point where he was annoying and we were fighting all the time. So I had planned on breaking up with him anyway. I just couldn't take it anymore. If you don't give her enough space, and if you are being an obsessed freak and even a jerk, that may possibly lead a girl to cheat. Yes, girls cheat too but it may be for different reasons then a man.

I have to admit i have cheated on someone in the past. The reasons for this were that i was just a bit bored with our sex life and fancied a bit of change and excitement. Its such a thrill and a turn on to think that its something you shouldnt be doing and the thought of gettin caught.
I am sorta ashamed to admit this now, it was a long time ago and i would never dream of doing it now. If you're not truly in love with your partner i think it can sometimes drive you to cheat, boredom is another cause. Also if a women isnt treated particularly well by her partner it may cause her to search for attention elsewhere. I know when i cheated i was craving attention, and it made me feel special in a way.

First of all, I don't believe "men are all the same"....but they ARE all "visually stimulated". Bottom line: women and men have different needs and sometimes that creates problems. BOTH have to accept their share of the responsiblity for those problems, instead of playing the "blame game."

While some men are just flat out whore dogs who actually believe they're God's gift to women and that it's their duty to "please as many as possible", regardless of who gets hurt in the process, I personally believe most men are driven to cheat by their desire for sex; if they aren't getting it at home, they go somewhere else. That is obviously NOT going to solve the problem. Instead of blaming the wife for their actions, what they need to do is try to find out the REAL reason they aren't getting it at home and then make a sincere effort to correct that problem.

I believe women are driven to cheat by a low self-esteem / loneliness when they aren't receiving the proper attention / appreciation from their husbands. If a woman is working outside the home, then coming home to fix dinner, take care of children, keep house, etc...she is TIRED. Flowers and romance are nice, but help around the house / help with the kids without being asked is TRULY AWESOME! It leaves her with more energy for "alone time" with hubby!

I only cheated in my younger, more selfish days but one time think it was worth it.

I was 17 and had been seeing a guy for about a year but he was a nasty little **** and would always put me down etc. He was on holiday and I stayed at home and met this guy that was a friend of a friend and lived a couple of hundred miles away. It was one kiss but it was more about the emotions and he seemed like he would be nice to me. I carried on seeing the first bloke for another couple of years. everytime I tried to dump him he would beg for my forgiveness and threaten suicide (I was yound and easily led). When we finally split up I found out that the second bloke was moving near by. I went on holiday with a 'friend' a couple of weeks before and when we came back she told everybody that I had slept with a new bloke each night (I think I would have come home with a bigger smile on my face if I had) and this bloke heard and he didnt believe it wasnt true. he constantly questioned me and was really jealous so I thought f*ck it I might as well cheat now. I started seeing someone else and he found out and that was that.

His friends kept telling me I broke his heart but I think we were both too young and immature ( i wanted to go out and get drunk constantly instead of reassuring him and ran off at the first sign of trouble) and he didnt realise that he was pushing me away.

I still regret the way I acted. Wish I had just gone off with him when I was 17 and always wonder what would have been?

I have never cheated full stop. Through all my relationships, I stayed faithful to that 1 person.

As for what drives a woman to cheat, tell us what drives a man to cheat? If we knew that, we could avoid such situations and everyone would be faithful, but thats to good to be true, huh?

we would never know why men and woman cheat. thats a question that i want to now myself. but i came to to the logic that men and woman cheat because they dont know how to handle a relationship. i feel like if you want to cheat please do not start a relationship. i also gathered that men and woman cheat because there partner dont do the things they want to satisfy them. last but not least your partner can do all the things in the book and they still will cheat. im a living proof. i gave my all into this man and he cheated on me. i did everything i can to him and for him within reason and he till cheated on me. but u know what we will never ever know that question. some men and woman r not mature enough. let me know if i answered your question

I'm against it. Women cheat when there is no excitement anymore. They were so used to all the surprises and unexpected things in their lives. They rely on excitement so much that when it dies down they are in confusion and are very lost. And there mind desperately searches for excitement which may lead to cheating.
