I live in downtown Orlando, FL and although there is a lot to do it is hard to actually meet poeple with the same interests. I am into skateboarding events because of my 16yr old son and I am a Wiccan. I am looking for other women to hang out with, go biking or to the beach, movies, concerts, hiking, boating or just about anything.

Young lady, you're missing the boat. Volunteer! Children's hospital always needs people to help out. United Fund, the local churches have friendship meetings, go to the library and check out the social events they have there. Go to the local bike shop and ask around for someone that is looking for a biking partner. There are all kinds of hiking events and many are specifically aimed at young women like yourselves. Be creative in your search but get out there and do something! Remember the bit about the turtle: he doesn't get anyplace unless he sticks his neck out.
Since you're a Wiccan, why don't you check out the local covens in Orlando. Might be your best start.I wish you well.

Be Careful because as soon as the word "Wiccan" comes out of your mouth, they are out of there. I am a Christian and just hearing the word gives me the shivers, YET I am wise enough to know that we are all made with different personalitys, and it is no ones place to judge another. I do wish you the best at finding a friend. She/He is out there looking for you.

Its easy, go up to them and introduce yourself, tell them you would like to join them with a positive attitude, they wont say no. By the end of the day, you will be exchanging numbers. Try it works. Good luck.
