would a guy like to a girl he met once and never talked to about liking her. He is shy and everyone has told me he is a good guy...I cant help but think its a joke bc he seems out of my league.
i mean he went out of his way to ask one of my co-workers if I had a boyfriend and she said he was so serious about it and he barely knows her but saw me talking to her one day

Out of your league?!? Are you kidding? Seriously if he asked a co-worker about you having a beau or not, he's obviously interested. If your worried about how you'll look by saying something, then don't, just make eye contact, smile, and flirt a little with body language. If he's shy, your demure flirtation should send him the green light! If not, then go bold and step out of your comfort zone and start up a conversation. Good Luck!

Sounds like he is curious to find out if he does. Maybe the one time, it peaked his curiosity. Take the chance and ask him to get a drink after work, or a sunday morning coffee house. Just to get to know each other better. If he asked about you he obviously wanted to know. But if he's shy maybe you should ask first.
