<-- Guy
The media IS the model of how a woman should look.
The problem is.. even the women that they use for those pictures and even the movies in some cases.. don't even look THAT good. That's after tons of makeup, PROFESSIONAL makeup artists, editing of the film/picture, photoshopping out blemishes, enlongating the neck, reducing the chin, etc etc etc.
If you were to meet a woman from some of the advertisements you see.. you wouldn't even recognize them... most you wouldn't even look twice at.
If the guy is looking at a picture of a woman or a woman in general and saying that's what they want with no idea who they are or what they're about much less the type of person they are. Then he's completely superficial and very immature to begin with...

I think you're right. All the time we watch TV shows, and watch movies that feature girls and women who have perfect bodies, clear skin, great hair, and pretty faces. And then, at the same time, some of the MEN in those shows and movies aren't nearly that good looking. So in comparison, guys can look at some male actors and think, "You know, I could probably look better than him," but a lot of girls don't have that opportunity. A lot of women really struggle to achieve this "perfect woman" image, but the problem is that beauty really is only skin deep. You shouldn't be worried about making yourself look like them. Just make YOU look as good as YOU can possibly look, inside and out.
If you're attracted to a guy, or dating a guy, who feels like he deserves a woman who is model-quality, lose him immediately. You don't deserve that kind of treatment. Wait for the opportunity to come around to find someone who actually appreciates you for who you are, not what you look like.

Of course they have an influence on how everyone should look. They constantly have their make-up people touching up their faces doing their hair and straightening their ties and all that crap.I have never seen one of them with a hair out of place in a hurricane even. They always show the Paris Hilton look a likes and never hardly ever a real person. They disgust me I would love to shove a big mac in their faces.

Yes. Between Hollywood & models, movies, television, and magazines, females are swamped with images of the "perfect woman". The way most men carry on about them, and use them as their standard (of a girlfriend or wife) doesn't help.

it extremely is totally damaging to society: -It convinces women persons to be weight-extensive conscious and bone-skinny whilst adult men are not in the slightest degree drawn to that -it sort of feels to completely harm women persons's self-esteems. They sleep around too damn lots. -It reasons vanity because of fact celebrities are in many circumstances idolized in basic terms because of fact of their status and potential -It reasons women persons to purchase ineffective, yet overpriced products -some women persons actually think of that the better priced a product is, the better cost it holds (particular type names) there is greater, yet those are the main suitable effects i've got are available the time of.

It has no effect on how a woman SHOULD look.
Unfortunately it has a massive effect on how many women THINK THEY SHOULD LOOK.
I for one hate stick insects (the fabled US size 0) and have always gone for women with curves
