to follow on from my other question, if your loved one had a terminal illness and was facing a painful prolonged death and wanted help to kill themselves, Would you help them ?

I had found out my boyfriend had another girlfriend before we got together and he had kept all their letters. When I had found them he said he was going to pitch them because I was the only girl he ever truly loved. he says that they never got "physical" but I think he is just covering up a mistake he made. i talk to him every night before we go to bed and we talk about everything.
well now i like him and he doesnt feel the same way, so he says.

My ex mother in law has terminal cancer. She doesn't have that much longer to live, maybe a month or two. I was married to her son when she was diagnosed 2 years ago, but we have since divorced. We were married for 14 years. I have been dating the same man for a while now and she as well as my ex father in law have met him and get along great with him. I am still close to my ex in laws. The topic of the funeral has come up and they both say to attend, and that if I want to that my fiance should attend with me. My ex husband and I are cordial to each other and we have a son together. His girlfriend - the main reason for our divorce - however, has not been welcomed into the family and no one cares for her. I doubt she will attend the funeral. Even though my ex-inlaws say I should attend with my fiance, what do others think? Should I bring him with or is this something I should go on my own? My fiance says it is up to me as he doesn't want to make anyone uncomfortable.

OK heres the thing. Ive been dating my boyfriend for 6 months and I have been really apart of his family life since. I am an American btw. Its not like his family doesnt except Americans into thier family he has 4 uncles and every one is married to an American woman. Yet I have been having such a hard time adapting to the culture that his mother threatened to ban me from the family. K today i wore some thing REALLY CUTE....ok and usually...Kinda...i dont and this guy asked me out and i said why and he said cause i look hot.

And i said NO
So really my question is...Why do SOME guys only go for what you look like and not because of the Personality and stuff like that?
