I love "sayings" like... never bite the hand that feeds you, you don't miss your water until your well is gone(my grandma's favorite saying...bless her heart)don't judge a book by it's cover, what goes around comes around, life isn't about how many breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away, don't blow out the candles until you can see in the dark, you were born an original don't die a copy, trust your girl friends with everything but your boyfriendits better to stand out a croud than blend in with it, if you open your mind the words will come out... I have ALOT MORE i could go for dayz

1. Love him/her not because of who you are, but because of who you are when you are with him/her.
2. No man or woman is worth your tears, & the one who is, won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand & touches your heart.
5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can' t have them.
6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on someone, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting & just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person & know who you are before you try & know someone else & expect them to know you.
13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.

Everyone's have been so nice, so how about some from left field??
1. It's as silly as a bum full of smarties.
2. Doing the horizontal folk dance.
3. It's like an African woman's left breast - it's not fair and it's not right.
4. I need to go and part the whiskers (a female needing to go to the toilet).
....and the male version....
5. I'm just going to test the temperature of the water (meaning he would like us to believe that he's so well endowed that he reaches the water in the toilet bowl!).
6. That's about as funny as a fart in an elevator.
Hope you liked these as much as the sensible ones! :o)

To be wise and old.... you must first be young and stupid
There is no point in there being two fools in the same deal
People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.
Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but that's no reason not to give it.
A word to the wise ain't necessary, it's the stupid ones who need the advice.
Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't.
One's first step in wisdom is to question everything - and one's last is to come to terms with everything.
"Do-so" is more important than "say-so."
Life is rather like a tin of sardines - we're all of us looking for the key.
Love is blind, but marriage restores its sight.

Here are some popular Russian sayings for ya (sorry for the clumsy translation):
You can't skin an unkilled bear (means, don't make plans based on something that is uncertain to happen).
Find out where the dog is buried (means to try to get to the root of the issue).
Under the cat's tail (means in vain).

This is a very true saying and I live by it each day.
"Look on the bright side.It could be worse."
I never believed this until I went through some difficult times a few years back. Now I remind myself of this every day.

My Dad too, as he was in the Military and they have their own he copied!
My Mom's----------- "Birds of a feather flock together!"
"I'll have to put the "KYBOSH" on that one!"
"Making a mountain out of a molehill!"
"That dress fits like Dick's hat band!"
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going!"
