i'm new here in america and i'm not sure if what my friend's doing is right. she has a boyfriend and she likes to talk about him alot in class and says that she really likes him alot.when we got moved to a different classroom for our extended 2nd period class, she starts talking about a different guy that happens to be on that extended 2nd period class too.on that extended 2nd period class, she sits on top of him while the guy is hugging her and she doesnt even care(the guy is not her boyfriend). well, i'm aware that in here a hug is a sign of greeting but sitting on top of a person who is not your boyfriend that is hugging you for 30 minutes without letting go, is that still ok?

I was out at the bar last night with this guy I have been talking to for about 3 weeks now. While he was in the bathroom an old fling of mine was in there too. He told him that I have herpes!!! (Wich I don't!)

My guy asked me about it and I set the record straight with him but now I am worried he will always have that in his head. I am scared he will fall off the radar.

What do I do about this?!?!

This question was posted by someone else a couple days ago but no one answered. I've been wondering this too... If you see a girl that you find attractive, do you look at her ring finger? If you do, and she has a ring on it but it is NOT a wedding ring or engagement ring, do you automatically assume she's taken?

Our divorce hearing was last Wednesday with my ex-husband attending. I had waived my right to appear as it is not a contested divorce and I am out of the country. I heard nothing from the lawyer but a message that the divorce would be granted but the judge needed to look over the separation agreement and finalize it. I called them to clarify and got a secretary and never got a return call. I have emailed them with no response. It appears that after the hearing was over, they've dropped us like a hot potato.

I am engaged and awaiting the decree so that we can obtain the license, and this lack of info is very frustrating.

How soon after the hearing can I expect the judge to sign whatever she has to sign so that the divorce is final and I can get a copy of it to prove that I am divorced? I figure I can get a copy from the clerk's office even if I never hear from the lawyer again, but how soon can I get it?

It seems like the less attention he gives me, the more I obsess.
We had some "hang out" dates, but he got scared off when I got mad that he did'nt call me one night like he said he would.

It's tough cause we work together. I know it's also the same for many of you that have to go to high school with the person, etc.

What are some of the best ways you can keep the silly "obsessing" in check?!? (besides the most practical: to find someone new).

It hurts me when I see him talking more to other people at work than he does to me, etc........

Plus I keep beating myself up over the fact that I got a little too upset with the fact that he did'nt call me that night. I sounded too needy, he said

Basically, I want to know if this is a good idea:

1. Before I pick her up, should I pick up a red or white rose and place it on the passenger seat where she can see it when she gets in the car?

2. Is this too much for a first date?

3. What does a single rose symbolize?

4. Will this make me look romantic?

5. What would you think if I guy did this? I don't want things to move too fast, but I want her to know that I like her.

Be honest Ladies... why do you play all these games in dating. I mean, if you don't like someone you should get out of their life and stop wasting their time. ok well, my bf and i.... he says hes alright with it whenever i check out other guys, and sometimes he does get jealous, but then wenever he tells me that he thinks some grls hot (*we go to diff skools*) but he doesn't "want" them in that way and that he just thinks their hot/cute, i still cnt help but feel jealous each time he tells me this, but he tells me that the only one he wants is me....so since he lets me check out other guys should i just allow him to check out other grls? or should i not? i dnt want to seem like a bitchy gf, help! please and thank you!

I'm 17 and in high school, and up to this point, my parents have succeeded in making my life MISERABLE. They've put me through a lot of Hell. After I graduate college, get my own home, and find work, I'll never visit my parents nor talk to them again (not even on holidays/birthdays). But of course, they spent a lot of time and money on me since I was a baby, so I'll just send checks to them every month as monetary reimbursement for raising me. Feasible?

I am coming over a depression caused by my ex when he left me 8 months ago. When we were together he was depressed and felt suicidal at times. He wanted me to be there for him and have me to talk to and I did because I cared. Through-out this he would not anwser his phone, tell me he would commit suicide by the end of teh school year, he was a teacher. Eventually he told me had a child w some one night stand before we met, and was ashamed and not ready for being a father. So I helped him, only for him to be emotioanlly stable to leave me and get to know the mother of the child. I understand in a way how things can happen, however..he turned so cold to me, him and this girl made me feel so bad about myself, she called me and told me things he said about me to her that weren't nice. You know, I never did anything to him but help him, we never fought. Its one thing to have feelings for someone else, but why did he have to devalue me. Mr. "You Are My Valentine" wants a promotion to Mr. "Bedroom".
My crush finally came to visit me tonight...what he said kinda sounds interesting.
He was in my room and we were working on the computer. He saw the cat laying on the bed. He mentioned my pillows. Then he mentioned he would need more pillows for his head. Then he asked if the cat always sleeps there. I said yes. He said something like he couldn't sleep with a cat or there would be no where for him or something. I said "Are you in my bed?" He said "No, I'm just saying if I was..."


So is this bombshell #1?

He's been in my room before but this is the first time the bed came up in conversation.

Guys can answer if they like too i guess.
Say your in a relationship and your with someone and they treat you awesome and give you everything you could want out of the relationship. Make you feel like your extremely special to them and would do anything for them.... why would someone take it all for granted and treat their significant other like crap? Instead of seeing it for what it really is a good thing. Someone you should be glad you have and actually go out of your way to make the other person happy. Is that a common thing a woman would do?

The worst idea for a first date, I think, is a movie. You can't get to know a girl at a movie. It never goes well for me. My thought process is that it's too aggressive to "make a move" on a girl at the theater on the first date. But I must be wrong, because the last three times I've done this on a first or even second date, the girls want to call it an early night or won't return calls after that. Am I too old fashioned keeping my hands to myself at a movie?
