The worst idea for a first date, I think, is a movie. You can't get to know a girl at a movie. It never goes well for me. My thought process is that it's too aggressive to "make a move" on a girl at the theater on the first date. But I must be wrong, because the last three times I've done this on a first or even second date, the girls want to call it an early night or won't return calls after that. Am I too old fashioned keeping my hands to myself at a movie?

Well my opinion is that, its not old-fashioned at all, you see, girls don't always want guys to make moves on them. Trust me, they don't want to be a whore. Anyways, if you ask her on the date, I would say to go see a "Chick Flick" or you simply just take her out to go Roller Skating, etc. If she doesn't care for any of the things that you do ( not sexually ), dump her. If she cant approve anything you do, its a worthless date. Find a girl that has similar interests, or that she is a plain, fun, exciting girl. You don' t have to follow my advise, but this is just my opinion. Well I wish you the best of LUCK!

You still have to talk to the girl a little before and after the movie. And maybe during the movie you guys could hold hands. Just make sure that you seem like a fun, interesting guy. If you guys go to a movie and it's really boring, take her somewhere else AFTER the movie. Like a walk in the park before you take her home, or something. Or, you guys can go to a restaurant and THEN go see a movie. Have fun!!!

Well maybe the girls you're dating like to move "fast"
Some girls would actually find it more better if you didn't make a move on the first date. But definitely ask them how the like the movie etc. If you really wanna do something then just maybe "reach for their hand" or a good night kiss on the cheek is always sweet

Do something before the movie like dinner, or lunch. This is the perfect time to talk and get to know each other. If you can't do that, talk before the movie during preveiws. And at least put your arm around her a lot of girls like to be held when they are watching movies, tv, ect.. Anyway, just relax and be yourself. You'll be fine.

at least try holding her hand. that's not like coming on too strong. nobody is asking you to flush your tongue down her throat, just mildly hold her hand. if your uncomfortable with that, don't agree for a movie. go out for lunches, dinners, coffee and then perhaps a little make out at your place ! common- get smooth ~

During the movie hold her hand, laugh with her, or put your arm around her.
