Well, I have a new problem ...

You can read the original info here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070227184229AAU3vZ2&pa=FYd1D2bwHTHwI7hgF.o.RcP44o6Gz8r1WP7.X5rZFr9ukQ--&paid=asked&msgr_status=

Basically, I want to know if this is a good idea:

1. Before I pick her up, should I pick up a red or white rose and place it on the passenger seat where she can see it when she gets in the car?

2. Is this too much for a first date?

3. What does a single rose symbolize?

4. Will this make me look romantic?

5. What would you think if I guy did this? I don't want things to move too fast, but I want her to know that I like her.

Thanks for the help!!!

I think a single rose is a classy thing to do and very romantic, however, do not make it a red rose, a red rose is a symbol of love and that may scare her, go for a pink rose, this shows you care about her.

FIRST, it's your first date.. relax... breathe... hoooheehooohee. Okay first giving a rose is fine.. giving a bouquet.. not so fine. Girls like it when you're thinking about them even if you're not on a date. Giving her a rose would considered be romantic for a first timer. Don't rush too fast or she might get the wrong idea for a first date. Play it smooth by engaging in a formal conversation (depending on your age that is.. so that you don't seem too immature) It's only to show your kid side as well.. but be a man! If the mood is just right.. try holding her hand when walking down the block or something. Make her laugh, smile, and make sincere jokes..depending her personality and yours. Be yourself and be comfortable! If she doesn't like all this... then she isn't the one for you. If she smiles a lot throughout the date, then it's probably okay to ask her out again because she likes you. Who knows the date might go totally haywire but lets keep our fingers and toes crossed.

If a guy did this,I would be VERYcharmed! It's a very romantic gesture. If you're worried that she'll take it for more than that(like you using the rose to say "I love you"or something)you can do the same with a different color rose(pink is good) or a bouquet of flowers and it will have the same effect.

Why not give her a rose? Its such a nice idea but hand it to her personally don't just dump it on the seat. I love it when I receive flowers and I don't care what colour or type of flower just love it.
Red is meant to say I love you but I don't read things into the colour just make sure its a nice one and not a whole bunch too soon for that. Have a great night and good luck

I think this would be very romantic . I like red roses. She would probably appreciate it. It sounds like you want to please her. I think this is a nice gesture of you.
