This question was posted by someone else a couple days ago but no one answered. I've been wondering this too... If you see a girl that you find attractive, do you look at her ring finger? If you do, and she has a ring on it but it is NOT a wedding ring or engagement ring, do you automatically assume she's taken?

Looking at her ring finger is good, and if its just a ring, don't assume anything, try you luck. If she has scruples, she will let you know whether or not she is spoken for. If it is a wedding ring, or an engagement ring, please show it the same respect you would expect if she was your fiance/wife. While you are being a man, perhaps the right girl might pass by and notice and show that she haas no attachments!! Good luck.

Anytime you see a ring on the ring finger of the left hand, it indicates she is involved with someone. And any gentleman will respect that and not approach her. I do know some women will intentionally wear a ring on that finger when they go out to keep from getting hit on.

well, the ring finger is just that, it means what it dose, and it deserves the respect it has earned over the years, yes if you wear any ring on that finger we assume you are taken.....

right hand? not left hand? thought married is left hand finger??!! anyway, if there is a ring on the left hand finger, meaning she's married or engage... most guy wont go for it...
