First of all why don't they like you dating him if there are major reasons behind it let it be you'll need your best friend more then you will some guy your debating about dating. Secretly is a big fat no see if you do it secretly there is a rush from doing it like that and once it is all out in the open you'll lose that rush and the relationship won't seem as exciting anymore and it could go all wrong. Plus if you get caught your friend will feel betrayed and that is worse then you doing something she does not like. Lets face it these kind of things never stay a secret. If you really like this guy you need to tell your best friend how it is and if she is truly your best friend she'll get over it.

trust me, you do not want a relationship to be a secret - what if it got serious then it came out in the open, your friend may not forgive you - plus if you fell in love it is really hard to keep that a secret, you may just want to talk to your friend - unless there is a good reason other than her just not liking it, i really don't see the big deal - maybe just bringing it about a little at a time would be the best approach - if you really like him and think that the relationship has true potential - try whatever it takes to get them comfortable with it - i think it would be a cool thing - then you guys can go on double dates and things! maybe try going out in a group one time or something - Good Luck!!!

If you see him secretly, what kind of friendship is that? What kind of relationship will it lead to with the guy? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

if you really like him and you think he is the right one for you then continue dating him secretly, then later both of you should sit your friend n her husband down n explain to them how you feel about each other, make them understand, i'm sure they will because they know what it's like to really like someone, use their own relationship as an example ,n use their relationship as a tactic to convince them.

Is everyone involved here a grownup? If so, enjoy.
And if you're of drinking age, enjoy a nice cold bottle of Colt 45. Mmm. Smooth.

in my opinion, your friend (or her husband for that matter) dont have any right to tell you who you can or cannot date-that is between you and the guy. if you like the guy and he likes you then do what you want...its your life, dont let them run it. if she is really your friend, she wont get mad at you for who you date or anything like that....she will like you anyways and accept it....

What does it matter what they think ?? Unless you are underage and he is not, or some such thing...... If you are all ADULTS then the decision to date is yours NOT everyone elses..... God bless
