i'm new here in america and i'm not sure if what my friend's doing is right. she has a boyfriend and she likes to talk about him alot in class and says that she really likes him alot.when we got moved to a different classroom for our extended 2nd period class, she starts talking about a different guy that happens to be on that extended 2nd period class too.on that extended 2nd period class, she sits on top of him while the guy is hugging her and she doesnt even care(the guy is not her boyfriend). well, i'm aware that in here a hug is a sign of greeting but sitting on top of a person who is not your boyfriend that is hugging you for 30 minutes without letting go, is that still ok?

It's outright flirtiness and rudeness. Lack of self respect and for classmates who really want to learn something better than making out in class. She should be reported to the principal for disturbing the classes and also to her boyfriend.

Not really. I don't think it sounds right but it really depends on the depth of the relationship between your friend and the 2nd guy. 30 minutes is a long time for a hug though and it sounds like your friend is enjoying the steady rewards of a boyfriend while still lapping up the attention from boys who want to date her and think they have a chance.
My advice to you is this, look away. Sooner or later your friend is going to mess up with these guys and her relationships will begin to look like a train wreck and noboy likes watching the train crash and burn.

no way.

What teacher is letting a student mount another for any length of time, let alone 30 minutes! This is outrageous.

Your friend's non-challant attitude towards others' feelings will catch up with her. Also, she really needs to get some things straightened out if she needs so much affection from boys.

no, what your friend is doing is wrong. she's basically cheating on her boyfriend, and she's going to get caught by him sooner or later. I'm a very affectionate person, and I give people hugs all the time, but I do not, and would not sit on some guy and behave like that because it's wrong.

She can do what she wants. She ain't married to no one, sound like y'all still in high school or below. The problem is...what is the teacher doing while this little heffa is all on some boys lap for 30min?

And why do you even care? you must like that boy and your jealous she has them both. Is that it?

You are correct. It isn't proper for her to do these things. Don't let others sway you from know what is right.
