My mom is going to be 97 on Saturday. She lives with us and feels we do enough just in what we do for her living here. We live in the country and 2 1/2 hours from her home and friends. I can't even talk her into going home for the weekend (flu season!). So what can we do here that would be fun and unexpected?

I just warn you .......
She can be cranky.
She can refuse to go out to eat.
She is going to raise he11 about anything we buy.

So what CAN we do that would be appreciated?????

Is it common to do this? if you will be, or are strongly considering, getting back together with your ex who you dated for two years, would you make him sweat it out a little bit? For how long? I mean in this situation you are holding the cards. At some point though, don't you just run the risk of him giving up and getting turned off if you play such a game? Any shared stories would be appreciated. Thanks. Please, 25 or older...thanks.

My beautiful, sweet, INNOCENT 16 year old daughter has a boyfriend that I find very disrespectful. Not only to me, but to her also. I noticed it the first time I met him. First of all, he calls me by my first name, but of course that isnt so bad, just annoying. The thing that really makes me angry about him is that they have only been going together for a very short period of time and he acts like he owns her. He even tells her how she should feel or what she should do even right after I tell her something else. Next is the touching. He goes way farther than what I feel is acceptable right in front of my face. I cant imagine what he would do if I ever let them be alone together. I have been thinking about talking to him about it and telling him that he needs to keep his hands off of her, and that I wont tolerate his bad language either. Should I talk to him, or should I talk to her about this, and should I tell her she cant see him anymore? Please give me advice.

Is he confused...I am getting mixed signals?
I saw my ex the otherday & he made it a point to tell me he met someone at a party but that he told her he wanst ready for a relationship..then I said so I guess its is really over between us & he said yeah for the most part what do you think & i said no i just think we needed some time or space for awhile & he he said well I can;t promise you that & he said I just cant see forever between me & u...but I could be wrong...is he confused..or am I ? he doesnt call me we talk when i call or sometime he will email me its been a month since he broke it off after 6 years...help

On the topic of phone conversations ; well, the thing is - I don't think my parents very much like me talking on the phone with guys. It's nothing against you - it's just guys in general; you know how evil they are *sarcastic grin* - how about just writing wonderfully long and creative, inventive, delicious e-mails. I love reading e-mails :)

So I used to have a bunch of friends, every body liked me, they wanted to hang out with me all the time and party with me, talk to me, I was popular etc. I got a boyfriend and all that slowly went away. It's been over a year now and all my old friends changed (fake backstabbing meanies), and I'm left with nobody. I wish I had friends someone to talk to and hang out with besides my boyfriend. I made a mistake by letting all that go and now I don't know what to do. I don't wanna go back to my old friends, and now that I'm older (12th grade) it's a lot harder making new friends these days, pretty much impossible. What do i do!????

i m now in a good job in a concern. i m going to be married in next few months. the problem is tht, i m little bit careless guy, careless in the sense, i do spend all the money which i earned previous month. now, my bank account shows me a balance of $10 (ie, less than 450 INR). if i find anything new gizmo electronic gadgets then, i ll buy tht in the next month itself even if it so costly than my salary. i cant change my attitude. i fear tht the girl i m going to marry will suffer a lot due to my atttitude. and also, my friends also tease me tht i m not worth in the family environment. shall i postpone my marriage? i donno wht to do?

its been three weeks since my husband left me, and I feel so happy without him. But I think im tricking to my self, i feel like im not been honest, cause when Im alone or quiet for a few minutes tears comming out and don't stop.
I' m not thinking much at that time just feel like he did love me a lot and I did.
But he left me and he wasn't a good a husband for me, so then i forget.
am I been true to my self? what its going on?

Ok, i have this friend, and i dont like her as more than that, and one day at school she couldn't get her locker open, so i kicked it open for her (and later got into trouble for it) and she started hugging me. I didn't hug back at all..i just stood there. Alright, I go to college and in one of my classes is a I girl I like, but we haven't even talked to each other yet, and I think she likes me back because she secretly stares at me and I catch her in the act and she quickly turns away and pretends she wasn't looking at me. i have been flirting with this waitress (really amazingly beutiful) and it seems like she likes me too so I finally got the guts to ask her if she wanted to hang out and she said " yes that would be great " she even gave me her number, but i dont really know where to take her and i want it to be a fun date and interesting. I have been so nice to my in laws i paid off my brother in laws hot checks. I let both of my sister n laws live with us. I helped my mother n law go to the doctor among other things and they still constantly stab me in the back. They go to my husband and say stuff ( he doesnt believe them). I have a 4 year old daughter and I dont want them to be a negative influence on her and then again I dont wont her to resent me becasue I did not let her get to know them. She cries everytime we say we are going down to their house so she knows somethings wrong. Please give me so good advise. Thanks
