Is it common to do this? if you will be, or are strongly considering, getting back together with your ex who you dated for two years, would you make him sweat it out a little bit? For how long? I mean in this situation you are holding the cards. At some point though, don't you just run the risk of him giving up and getting turned off if you play such a game? Any shared stories would be appreciated. Thanks. Please, 25 or older...thanks.

I wouldn't 'make him sweat it', the only time I would be taking would honestly be time so that I could figure out whether it was all worth it and I wanted to be with him again.

I think if you have someone doing this to you it's a bit messed up and you're much better off finding someone who's not going to toy with your emotions. Why would you want to start a relationship based on games like this?

I am only cold to people when they really haven't gotten over me and it's the last resort for them to get the message.

27yo............when my ex and i broke up, i did play the cold shoulder game! because i was already seeing other guys...so see where she stands and listen (with your heart) to her feelings. if you date her for 2 years, you must know her actions and you should be able to know if she still has feelings for you. it also depends on how long you and her have been broken up. if it was a short while ago, sometimes, we can go through a phase of anger...maybe you need to give her the space but knowingly still somewhat emailing her, texting her or giving her a call ever so often, maybe once a month just to stay in her mind

Depends on the reason the relationship ended in the first place. If you get back into a relationship, all those old problems will still be there. If you think he's changed because he's acting different now, you're wrong. He's just trying to get you back.

1 or 2 years at the minimum!

I'm shure he will be always
in a better position
because he is a man,
but a women that hurt need to experience
the other men,
so she can compare,
and see,
if she would be appreciated
for what SHE has to offer!

He is free to go
like a ping pong,
but please no revenge

Revenge is only
for low class people,
or people with the low self esteem

Personally,
I think he can **** his brain out,
as long as nobody sees or knows

Good luck!!!!
