A movie is definitely out, you both would feel awkward with no talking for that long! You don't have to do or go anywhere special to make it a great date ..I feel takeing her to a nice restaurant first and sitting in a spot off to the side where you have privacy to just be yourself and get to know each other better is always a good choice. Now is the time to find out what she is all about and what fun things she likes to do .. Sounds like you click with her while she is working and she did say yes, so I'm sure if you just relax and don't think of it as a big deal..the date will go perfect and it will be fun and interesting!! I feel a 1st date shouldn't last too long , because maybe one or the other just isn't feeling it! Also another good 1st date is always one during the daytime when you can be outside walking a round at something like a festival -like setting or it could be something like a classic car show, a walk thru the mall, an outdoor concert or even a visit to a zoo. If she likes you , it won't matter where she is , only who she is with ! I know you're going to have a great time w/e you decide!! Keep us informed ...:)

Bro, I think this is one of the hardest decisions guys have to make because I believe a first date has a lasting impression on most females, so my advice would be to take her to a live ball game (any sport that involves fast paced action e.g basketball) .
I know this may not sound very romantic right now but brov, I guarantee you it would not be a boring date. And you'd alway be that guy who took her to watch a ball game on your first date.
Besides, you said she works as a waitress so she spends her time around food and rude customers all day. A ball game would give her a release and both of you the opportunity to cheer for whatever team, actually you should each cheer for different teams(believe me it would be fun).
Then again she may not like sports at all. In that event just take here to dinner. At least she'll get served by someone else and you get to talk and look into her eyes lol....
GOOD LUCK BRO !!!

First of all take her somewhere you 2 can talk. You can take her to a park and have a picnic( not on the tables but on the grass with a blanket) and get to know each other or the beach and take a stroll and wach the sun set.I will tell you one thing do not ask her where she wants to go surprise her.

Movies for a first date is a bad idea anyway; you can't really talk during a movie, and it eats up 2 hours of your night.
Take her to a museum, then restaurant. Or somewhere else where you can engage in pleasant conversation, and then have dinner after.
Museums tell her that you are cultured and refined and it gives you great conversation opportunities.

A Church !! ...lol....just kidding..
I have never thought the movies are good for a first date cuz you have to be quiet and watch the movie, and a first date should be in a place where the both of you can talk plenty. NOT a bar though!

First do something exiting that won't take up the entire evening, like minature golf to break the ice and then take her to the beach where you guys can talk and get to know each other until the sun comes up.
