Do you really love him? Im not sure you actually do. How could a grown man be on the same maturity level as a 17 year old. Why is a man almost ten years older than you even interested. Maybe he is a good guy, but at 26 he's gunna be looking alot more for wife material, and are you ready to be a mother.

It's not wrong for you to be into him, but a 26 year old guy who would have a relationship with a 17 year old would have to be a little f*cked up.

I am 26 and one of my friends is dating a 20 year old girl and ALL the boys talk about how messed up it is. The maturity levels are SOO different.

Can you imagine dating someone 9 years younger than you? It's not right.

So very wrong...you are too young for this relationship. What real man would want a 17 yr old? It shows his maturity level. Besides isn't this against the law???Real men so not have relatinship with minors??? Take a look at that. And run like hell...

Its not wrong if you feel that way but one thing though is you should not tell a guy you love them wait for them to tell you that they love you first... Its just my experience on my past relationships I think you should wait first before telling this guy you love him only because it might scare him off... If you have been seeing him a long time like a year or even 6 months then its ok but not within the first few months... Guys are very funny like that... Good Luck!!!!

No its not wrong I'm 19 and my man is 28 and we've been together for 2 years now. Just be honest and see what he says.

wait until you're 18 and legal. Then see if you still feel the same about this man. He may just try to use you for sex since you're so young, that is if he doesn't turn you down over the age gap.

If you feel as if you must tell him, write him a note.
Please do not embarrass yourself and tell him in his face.
Sure he will be gracious about it but not much chance that he would be willing to risk going to jail for a love affair with you! I promise you that you will want to jump off of a bridge if you tell him this and he tells you 'thanks but no thanks' speech that any DECENT MAN would say to a 17 year old girl

yes, because you aren't in love you are hormonal and I can say that because I've been there but he was 31 when I was 17. I almost eloped with him and I was willing to die for him and swear my soul, head over heals in love, When he dumped me I was over him in a week... that ain't love and trust me you aren't in love. If it's love, don't get physical with him, if it's love you will be content just being with each other.

Wait till you're 18 and out of highschool. He can get into serious trouble with you, now, because of statutory laws. Right now, you are a minor and he's an adult. Leave him alone for now.... and he should do the same.

yes this is wrong you are only 17 you need to date someone who is more your age, if you have sex with this guy he can go to jail, he is too old and more experience he might take advantage of you.
