It could be a little of both. It does show that he is to immature to be in a steady relationship, and that he can't handle the commitment.

I think when a guy is looking for something on the side its obvious that there is trouble in the relationship otherwise he wouldnt be looking for something on the side. It may not mean he wants to break-up, i think it does mean that he is bored in the relationship, and seeing a new person and experiencing those new feelings when you first start seeing someone adds excitement into his life. However, i dont think this is a solution when there is trouble in a relationship, i would offer to work on the relationship with out seeing others, and if he doesnt want to work on it and help make the relationship fresh again, then both people need to move on, and find someone who will put energy into a relationship.

I think that when they start looking for some on the side then the relationship is in trouble. It means that he thinks that he can do this and we will just go on as if nothing has happened. I often think that when they do this that they think that the other person can do more for them than what we can but in most cases they are dead wrong and wind up getting hurt the same as we do. I would dump this person and find me someone that is worthy of your love. I really beleive that you are a good person and deserves better.

well "looking" isnt a problem but "some on the side is". it could be boredom, could mean trouble... you should ask "do you still want to be with me?" if he says yes, ask yourself do i still want to be with someone who is looking for some on the side? if you say yes think about the following:
men are (by nature) born to breed
you have to keep passion in your relationship
boredom will only get worse
try new things together
talk
only forgive if you can truely forgive. if you stay together dont bring it up every arguement.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
there are many many many other men in the world.

That means that he has been lead to believe that he isn't in a real caring relationship right now. Perhaps, he is thinking that the one he has is in a relationship with someone else behind his back. Perhaps he really loves this new person. Being bored..well...does that lead to anything? He can always take up golf.

Can mean all above. I think people should work at a relationship (unless there cheating or abuse going on).If it seems that nothing is working, than you break up with the person and THAN you can see somebody eles. I do not think its just men who do this, but women as well.

if your asking if he wants to sleep with someone else then the relationship is in trouble. He wants to sleep around and made the mistake of making a commitment. If he wants to sleep around BREAK UP WITH HIM.

he dont want to break up otherwise he would. but he wants some on the side witch means he cant stay faithful and at least his honest about it. People who cant stay faithfull get bored very easily.
