I feel like for so long I've been so good, but do you ever get thoughts of just wanting to have something unmeaningful for one night? Who knows it might turn out meaningful but in my state of mind I doubt it. I just feel like I need to have someone in my bed with me holding me tonight. I just have to live with my decisions I guess.

A friend of mine has let me down in an emergency and lied to me on at least once occasion. Both of these incidents can be traced back to her selfishness. She always puts herself before other people and I don't think that's what friendship is about.

I've thought about talking to her about it, but I know, based on her personality, that she will just get upset and I really don't think she will change her behavior. This selfishness is just part of who she is and she thinks it's logical to put herself before other people.

I've decided to distance myself from her and I just say I'm busy even if I'm not, etc. I feel bad, however, because this is just like lying. Should I sit her down and talk to her about it? I've been thinking that it would just make me feel better and not her. I think she's happy thinking that everything's okay...even though it's not.

My bf and i lived together for almost 4yrs although we are now separated by oceans he's in the US I am in asia we still have a strong relationship and constant communication. He said he wants me to move there with him after the school year and settle down. Few months after I admitted to him honestly about the lies I've kept about my family. We got over with the problem and we're sweet again. He knows that I have to sort out my previous marriage in order to marry him. He also said i should seek for a lawyer, file for a divorce and he will help me.

Last week i went to a lawyer. I told my bf the result of my inquiry. I got an impression that he's not interested, he made a positive comment but was not as adamant as before. He's a very honest person I'm sure he'd tell me if he found someone new. Should I ask him? but I know men dont wanna be pressured? I really love him what should i do?

My wife is a straight laced baptist......and I have strong sexual desires.....I want to do all kinds of crazy things......

not to be too graphic....but c*mshots(Facials) and role playing.....but I have talked to her about this and she is not up for it.

....I have a very hard time with this, becuase I could probably go somewhere else to fulfill this desire....but I wouldnt want to ruin my family over a whim.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 1 month. But on Valentines day and our anniversary he was in New Orleans visiting his grandma. I had boyfriend, and we were dating for a month..the relationship was nearly perfect..and we fell in love, and everything was simply great..but then suddenly he went on the other side of the world to work in a hospital..and he'll come back in a year..we had a proper goodbye,and he asked me to wait for him..he calls every 10 days or so..and I still love him(it's been a month that he left), but I don't know what will happen in a year time..so should I wait for him, or to go on with my love life? i met my bf when we were 16 & 17. we've been together since. its been 5 yrs this yr... we've alw been in love and our parents know..infact EVERYBODY we know knows...

but this yr ive seen a side to him which has made me doubt being together... im seriousl considering walking away from this relationship bcos im not happy at all.

but how do i tell ppl this? my parents? we met so young, but my parents r so sooo happy with us, they love him!!

I just ran into my ex girlfriend maybe an hour ago at a club. She was with her new boyfriend. When I came in I was with a couple of my buddies and she looked over at me then acted like she didn't notice me. A couple minutes later she put on her jacket and left. Then she came back in looked directly at me walked to her boyfriend grabbed him by the hand and looked at me again as she left. Didn't even say a word to me. Keep in mind she hasn't been talking to me for the past couple weeks since we broke up either. Does this mean something? What am I supposed to make of this situation?

My 36 year old sister broke up with her boyfriend after a year of going out(She found him with another woman)The problem is that she is doing things not in her nature.She is drinking and picking fights with our family,flirting with my husband,making drunken phone calls to all sorts of guys.just being self destructive.I dont know how to help her and really Im starting to lose my patience with her.I mean everybody goes through break ups but is this normal.I have been in a relationship that didnt work out either but i dealt with it but not like this.I need help I dont want to see her hurt herself but I cant take care of her either.

When my kids were younger (theyre now 17 & 18) I took out a loan to pay to go abroad, so we had about 5 good holidays, plus other bits and pieces. Now, since I won a holiday to Turkey about 7 years ago, weve been nowhere. My marriage is a mess and my husband insists on trying to pay off our debts asap, in other words theres nothing to live for right now. Were finished anyway, but Im just interested to know would you rather have the good times and then spend life in poverty for 3 or 4 years to get debts paid down or would you continue to have a holiday each year, knowing each time you did it, it would take you about, say, 500 years to pay it back? Im with the "do it today, you might not be here tomorrow" brigade, why practically give up your life to repay debts which have horrendous interest rates anyway?

Recently I had a conversation with my brother who told me he is counting the days until his son turns eightteen so he can stop child support. My nephew will still be in school when this happens. My brother spends no time w/ his son had to be forced to pay & he wouldn't even acknowledge his son until he was well over three years old, that's when I met my nephew. My mother always complained about the fact that my father wasn't around and how he had to be forced to provide for us as well, yet she wont encourage my brother to be a better father and makes excuses for him. She makes out like he's actually doing a good job with his son when he's done practically nothing at all. His son doesn't even know where his father lives. Why do men act as if only the woman should bear the cost of a child and that as fathers, they should be able to get off? My nephew is a great kid, and his mother has done a great job with him. I ended the conversation with my brother in disgust. What do you think?

Marriage is only legal documents. It is nothing. I would never hope to get married. I would be willing to spend the rest of my life with my girl though. she's getting mad at me for not wanting to marrying her. I love her so much. We are at the proper age limit (24+). Why is marriage so important? If it commitment problems, I am fully committed to her. I would still look at other women but not do anything about it. I wonder if that is okay. and plus, if the relationship breaks off and didn't have any kids, I can get off scott-free without paying her if the relationship go bad.

I know I've asked already but I really need help. My husband and his exwife are going through what we hope will be a final round of money battles. She's already received 110,000 from liquidated assets, and we've liquidated more assets to pay her 2200 a month. We only have my husband's trust (held in England) and our house. Everything else has been sold to pay her.
Here's the deal:
We sell off 80,000 pounds (the trust is worth about 500,000 but my husband does not have a pension/retirement fund and he's 50) which would pay her off and pay off what we owe on the house or
We sell our house and make a $150,000 profit after paying her off and paying off what we owe on the house.
Please help me. What would you choose and why?

The reason is that I come from a broken family. It hurts me a lot seeing my mother cries over a foolish quarrel with the rest of the family members. I've seen it not only once but several episodes in a week . And it sucks knowing that i can't help but to comfort her as hard as I can just for me to ease her pain. I'm really afraid to do some wrong things in my life and in order for me to do so, I avoid all persons around me knowing one of them will do such horrible things in my life and that will affect my mother for sure. How can I bring my trust back? And i've hurt this person because I never gave such importance to his existence in this world though we've known each other for almost 8 years. He told me for the last time "you don't even notice me..." and that was it. I never heard a single word from him again. What if he harms himself? One is enough and i don't have any plans of hurting any one's feeling anymore but how can i if i don't want to hurt my mother's?
