My boyfriend and I have been going out for 1 month. But on Valentines day and our anniversary he was in New Orleans visiting his grandma. And I gave him a present when he came back and he hasn't gave me mine. He said it is because it is to nice to bring to school. He said that he is going to give it to me on Monday.

I know a present doesn't have anything to do with it.

Not yet, but it is getting there. This is a teasing (in a positive sense) love.

Can't u see it?True love isn't about valentine's and the gifts in this day, and because u are thinking this way, i guarantee you its nothing but a crush or a waste of time relationship, don't rush up you'll find ur soul mate sooner or later, and don't be so naive, roses are never about love...Until u find ur true love have fun in ur life without hurting urself or anyone else, love ur partner and ignore the materialistic details.
Wishing u the best

one month of dating is too soon to id the relationship as love. You are feeling a bit insecure and a bit needy, because of the timing of the relationship. What I mean is that...your relationship developed around valentine's day or somewhere in the month of February. People associate that month with love love and love, and I think you are feeling the way you do because he did not make a big deal out of it.

Well he could be lying and he could be saying the truth. or he could have just forgotten to buy you the present and still loves you.

If he is nice to you always, then yeah true love. If he is rude then no.

no...that's retarted lol...why would you associate a "special gift" to "true love"...technically if you have to ask someone else if it's true love-IT ISN't!...only the person in love knows if they are really in love...so for you, obviously not (considering you're second guessing yourself). You maybe in love and he may not be, and when your in love, you'll know, but as a male, when he's in love hopefuly he'll tell ya, when your both in love, you'll feel it -----sorry if that was a little blunt

A gift shouldn't account your love for him.

Love doesn't have to do with gifts. It's not materialistic.
