many schools have a Valentine's Day program which involves the student council distributing flowers & chocolates form one student to another(that is,if you did pay for it).but is this, really neceassary?

my school does that too,& today there were a lot of misunderstandings & confusions.my crush apparently thought that I had sent him a "Friendship" rose annoymously, whereas i was never a person to do things in a round-abt manner).

a couple of my guy friends played a joke on my best friend,Anjuli-they sent this guy a rose saying that it's from her.he received the rose,& then it was taken away because she denied sending it.(imagine how he would have felt)
only a couple of girls got roses in my whole grade, compared to the guys.(are traditions being reversed?).some people even send flowers to themselves,so that they can brag abt how many they got.(is it a competition?)& of course, there was also a lot of people who didn't get anything.(i wonder how many broken hearts went home today)

I'm surrounding by women or "options" who dress scantily, drink and do a wide array of drugs they can get ahold of, flirt excessively and occasionally dabble in sexual relief with the nearest "cute boy"... yet ***** and moan about "all guys want is sex". That's all they're offering and I'm personally bored to tears with these women. You try to get to know them and they put up all kind of emotional shields to protect their "sweet virginity" you know they lost several years ago in the first place, sabotaging any kindness or affection that comes their way... unless you "hawt". This is a living hell for someone looking for strictly, loyal gf material. Instead, I have Lindsay/Paris/Britney clones acting ret@rded yet constantly wondering why they can't find love. Girl's like this are train wrecks and I'm personally sick of catering to their B.S. and getting no respect in return. Should I broaden my horizens? If so, where? Or should I give up, have fun and take advantage of this w/o the guilt

I love Italians because they have beautiful hair and skin color.I love their culture, food, and passion for romance. Some have cocky little attitudes that crack me up too.

... and they have no erotic joy in their life because they in effect have no sex partner in their life, and because they are married, they don't want anyone else, and they can't legitimately get with someone else either.

In other words, isn't V-day the everlovin' pits for those forced into sexlessness by their anti-sex or sex averse spouse?

Just reading the cards about how great they make your life cuts like a knive when all you get is neglect and/or sexual rejection.

My mom wanted me to get a job and stop thinking of getting a University degree. I still went ahead and got my degree, with no help from anyone. I still live at home, and now my mom wants to cash in on the money I make now. I pay all the bills and she goes to the extreme sometimes by deliberately wasting resources. I can't take it anymore, but now I've decided to get my own place, I don't even have the deposit, cause I blew it all at home. What can I do?

My husband and I are separated, but we still live together. He has a girlfriend at the moment, but he has told me that he wants me back. I have hurt him a few times in the past, but I have changed and I would really love to get back together with him. He says he can't be with me because of the things that I've done, but he says he really misses me. How can I show him that I've changed and that he means the world to me on this Valentine's Day and every day?

and leave your spouse for the other person...and you have children with your now ex spouse...is it normal to try and be friends with your ex? I am trying to understand my ex husband's behaviour. I am moving on with my life. To do this I keep contact with my ex to a bare minimum. I talk to him only when there is something I need to discuss about the kids. That does not happen very often as they live with me and only visit their father every other weekend. However, he has begun to call me more often lately for things that he could have easily figured out on his own. I guess it makes him feel less guilty about everything he did?? Or maybe it helps him justify his actions if he thinks since we are both happy the affair and the divorce must have been the right thing to do?? All I know is I do not want to be his friend. It was his choice to be with someone else and he does not deserve to have me in his life. Is this normal behaviour from a cheating ex spouse??

They say when you stop looking you will. However when I'm not looking I always get approached by people that there is just no chemistry or interest on my end. What is going on? I have even lowered my standards some. My life is pretty full, everything is great except for the whole love life thing. I'm fine with being single, its just sometimes I wish I had someone to spend my life with.

This morning when I woke up, I found a nice box of Russell Stover chocolates (in a heart shaped box) on the kitchen table.

I noticed a bit of dust on the package...but ignored it.

I opened the box and bit into it and noticed the candy was rock hard...

I seriously think my wife purchased this chocolate after valentines day last year and kept it hidden all year...

...she does this at christmas time where she buys wrapping paper and holds it until the next year.

We keep a real clean house, so the dust isn't from us...besides, if she did buy it this week at a store, there is no way it could collect that much from the store shelf to our home...

Now, I went to a jewelry store and spent close to 800.00 on her necklace I plan on giving her tonight, now I'm having second thoughts.

I'm disgusted with her (considering I give her a life where she doesn't even have to work)

How do I approach this situation? I'm really disgusted with her right now...
