They say when you stop looking you will. However when I'm not looking I always get approached by people that there is just no chemistry or interest on my end. What is going on? I have even lowered my standards some. My life is pretty full, everything is great except for the whole love life thing. I'm fine with being single, its just sometimes I wish I had someone to spend my life with.

please dont lower your standards --- yes there is someone for you and they will appear when you least expect it --- keep an open mind as well because sometimes what you are looking for is not who you really want --- it happened to me --- my lady is so different from the person i thought i was looking for and i love her so much

Will you find someone- absolutely! I too however know exactly how you feel as I am still single and looking for Mr Right.

I hear you. Sounds like my life. All my ducks in a row except my love life. However, don't lower your standards. It's good to be picky if you want to be with that person for the rest of your life. And I'm not talking picky as in looks.

Chill. Why bother yourself. If something gonna happen, it will happen. Relax and wait...who knows the person you looking for could be just writing the answer for this question. So wait...and don't lower your standards otherwise you'll screw two lives, yours coz u won't be satisified and the other person who would try hard to make it up for you.

Don't lower your standards too much.
You've got to be happy with the guy (/gal) you're with. Develop friendships - coffee friends, movie friends - build the network. You spend your life with your friends.

Are you sure you're not being to picky? What about joining a club or taking a class? Vounteer work is a good way to meet people. There's somebody out there for you.

i want to believe i will find someone too. im 30 and single....
i know what people say..stop looking and it will come...and dont what to think or what to believe anymore.....all i know is that being single is better than being in a bad relationship. lets keep a positive mind!!!!
