My mom delt with it like this.
We made it on our own without a Dad or his money. It set a good example to me to me on how to take care of myself and we didn't waste a single moment over Dad in our house because he was never mentioned. Now I am a MAN not a whinning boy and since I was raised to be a MAN I can take care of myself and my family and others. I thank my mom for setting this example and I tell you there is not a single thing I ever wanted from that man. The better part is I don't. Mom taught me well.
Self Reliance can have a whole host of benifits to you and your children.

Ouch. Well, the only way to discuss it is just like anything else. You don't have to be confrontational or anything, just be yourself. Since it's a court order, neither of you is "over a barrell" per say. He knows what he has to do, you know? It still has to be paid/taken out of his check one way or the other =) It's one of those situations that you can ask and he's going to tell you anything, but the bottom line is since legally he's responsible, then that's it. Good luck!

If it is court ordered... file a contempt charge for non payment of child support. The courts will handle him from there. If you don't have one, let your ex know that you will be filing a petition for court ordered child support to be taken out of his pay, each and every week if he can't be responsible enough to take care of it himself. Then go get the court order. They will take whatever he owes you out of his tax returns if he gets behind. They monitor it for you.

don't talk to him about it talk to your attorney, that's what you pay them for to make him abide by the court orders. if he is not paying you can have his wages garnished and he wont have any choice or say in the matter. best of luck to you (been there done that).

Call him up and ask him where it's at. There is a court order for it and if he doesn't pay it, it's his neck not yours.

Go to the courthouse and file to have it removed from each of his paychecks. That way he doesnt have to see you to even pay it, and you dont have to let him see your child till he does. Its cruel, but it will work.

if you want to be nice about it, call him and tell him he needs to pay you the money by such and such date, or you will take it back to court. one way or the other, you will get your money!
