The question is: do YOU want to tell her that you hate her just because she is dating an 18 year old? The best advice that I can give you is to stay out of it and let her parents handle the situation- if they ever find out that is. Keep your mouth shut and focus on what's important- such as getting an education and not worry about other people's situations. This girl will find out the hard way that she has no business dating an 18 year old, and he knows better than to date a 14 year old. I hope you don't do the same thing either. Bottom line: stay out of it. Since you "hate" the girl so much, don't be her friend.

I agree that she is a jerk. But I wonder if the word "hate" best describes what you are feeling toward her.
Maybe it's more like extreme disappointment, or the fear for her safety that you already talked about.
I think that you would do the right thing if you talked to YOUR parents about this. It's not up to you to decide if her parents know about this 18yo boyfriend, but it is EXTREMELY important that her parents find out. That's where your parents come into the picture. I would hope that your mom & dad would pass this information on to your friends parents, & that it would be done in such a way that NO ONE would know exactly who blew the whistle on this sick affair.
I know your friend would be angry about her parents finding out, but that is because she knows what she is doing is wrong. But she isn't acting mature enough to make the decisions necessary to keep herself safe. So in this case it is absolutely right for you to speak up & tell an adult exactly what is going on.
So do the right thing, & do it now.
You are a good friend if you do.

Yes, tell her parents. It doesnt' matter if she gets angry with you. If you have other friends, who cares what she thinks.
Why do you hate this friend? Is it because of what she does? Does she treat you badly or not like a real friend?
If you hate her, you need to find other friends.
Tell her parents for her own safety, but after that, stay out of her life.

Stop looking into her life and keep on with your own. If you hate her so much, then why do you want to help her? You can take a horse to the lake, but you can't make it drink; therefore, if you tell her that the situation she is in is dangerous and she doesn't listen, there is nothing else you can do...

Hate is a powerful word. You may not like her, but HATE ? If you really hated her, you'd jump at the chance to tell her parents, right? Or you'd sit back and enjoy that she's in a potentially dangerous position. If you don't like her, ignore her. Simple.

If you truly think she's a jerk and you hate her, I would just stay out of her business and out of her life.
If you're just mad at her right now, and she REALLY is a good friend -- tell her in a nice way how you feel about her choices. It really is up to her to tell her parents -- not you.

You are crazy. In one sentence she's a jerk and you hate her and you want to tell her off, in the next sentence you don't want her to get hurt. Just leave her be and let her make her own decisions.

If you hate her she's not really your friend. And is someone just a bit jealous that they don't have an 18 year old boyfriend?

If you care about her feelings then you obviously don't hate her as much as you think you do. Just tell her how you feel... but don't go in like a bull in a glass store. Tell her how she makes you feel, and give her an ultimatum. Just don't hang with her if she doesn't make you happy.
