I know an Indian family who migrated to the Philippines. They claim that Indian men are faithful (as husbands) because of their faith. Is it because there's a horrible punishment if you break the law/teaching that makes them fearful?

Some friends of our were praying that divorce came to their son and daughter-in-law which at the time I thought was strange however, have since seen why they were doing so. Mind you they walked away from the situation after being chronically mistreated and disrespected by the young lady. After she accomplished pitting her husband against his parents she then began beating her children. Needless to say the couple is now divorced.

i really want help. my friends have betrayed me twice. once whe it was a"boy" problem the other they wanted to test my friendship.but now when i have got this gr8 friend they r always wanting to stay with me,they want to break our friendship as my best friend has told me but one of that groups girl came to &said that it was their so called group leaders fault & she also cried. what should i do -- forgive them.

Okay here is the deal. I have been "friends" with this girl for about 5 years, and she has done nothing, but caused me problems--let me explain:

Well when we were in high school I had other friends and then I just find out that she used to talk bad about me which I just firgured that was just HIghschool drama like usual!! SO I forgot and forgave!
THen I got w/ one of my exs and I was with him for 3 years and she would tell me bad things about him and tell me he was controlling and find things wrong with him so I would dump him, When our relationship finally ended every other guy I dated she said bad things about too, She has been with this same guy for 6 years they have a child together and he beats her all the time they do nothing but fight and agrue.

Well then I get with my now finace and when we first started dating she would tell me how sick he was and she used to work with him and all. and how he would F everyone from work and all this.

Over 30 years ago my mother and her brother were molested by their oldest brother when they were young children. We have kept a comfortably distant, practically non-existent relationship from this uncle, and whole side of the family.

Now one of my other uncles has just gotten married. His new wife is a very sweet person. She is always trying to throw parties and get the family to spend time together. I think it hurts her when nobody shows up.

I have a 10 month old baby. There is no way I'm letting my uncle get near my child.

Is it my place to expose my mothers secret to this new woman? This happened 30+ years ago when there were no real laws against this and he never got caught again. I know hes probably still a sicko though. They never change.

What do i do?

Hi all! HELP! Am I wrong to be upset here? I am 35 & my partner is 39. I have never been married & have purposely waited this long to find the perfect mate. We are finally getting hitched in a very fun, creatively themed wedding in Oct (summer too hot) in Pennsylvania, we live in NYC but my family lives out west & in Florida, his family is here. I have a very small family: my dad who can't come, my other sister who is only 1 year younger than me doesn't want to come, my Granny can't come she's old & frail & that leaves my mother who also doesn't want to come. Only my one baby sis will make it. This hurts. I am pretty close with all of them but they just think I should elope or get married where they live so they don't have to be "inconvenienced." Everyone has enough $ to come but are using every excuse in the book like "I have to work" (they don't work weekends!) they don't want to fly, etc. I can't believe my own mother is giving me crap about it, yet again she's married 4 times. ???

This girl and I used to be the best of friends. We always hung out, like every day!!! We've had a lot of problems with each other for the past year or so. She would always put her boyfriends before me and her friends and would completely blow me off. She ended up turning into a major whore (and I mean that litterally!!!). So, we were cool again when she got with her new boyfriend. I had heard she was talking **** about me behind my back to a lot of people (most the stuff wasn't true and she twisted a lot of my words around!) so when I went to confront her about it she went all ballistic on me and said we weren't friends anymore. So I sent her an e-mail telling her off. We haven't talked since... but I just found out that she told some girl I don't even know that I had slept with the girls boyfriend... As much as it pisses me off, I do'nt know if I should write her about it or just let it go?

I was supposed to go out with my boyfriend on Friday night, he told me he was having a couple of drinks after work but would be at my house fairly early so I got all dressed up ready to meet him.

When he didn't show up I texted to ask where he was he told me he was going to stay out drinking all night with his work friends instead.

I'm am usually quite relaxed about such things but I had not been out of the house all week as I had surgery on Monday and I was really looking forward to seeing him.

I was going to let things lie but he called me about midnight (very drunk) and we subsequently had a row. He texted on Saturday to apologise but I haven't replied as I was angry.

He texted again this morning asking if I want to meet up today (no further apology).

I want to see him but I think he needs to realise his behaviour was seriously out of order and he cannot treat me like that. How do I make him understand without looking neurotic and needy?

We have been going out for 2 months

I don't just mean sexually. Tonight I was out with some friends, and I saw someone looking at me. Right then I felt this intensely powerful feeling, and longing for them. It wasn't just based on sexual attraction...I really can't explain it. Even now, I'm longing for this stranger, and I feel despair since I will probably never again see them. I've never had this happen to me before, and I'm a little weirded out, but it's true. I feel like crying for losing them. What the hell? Has this ever happened to you, and what can it be?
