This girl and I used to be the best of friends. We always hung out, like every day!!! We've had a lot of problems with each other for the past year or so. She would always put her boyfriends before me and her friends and would completely blow me off. She ended up turning into a major whore (and I mean that litterally!!!). So, we were cool again when she got with her new boyfriend. I had heard she was talking **** about me behind my back to a lot of people (most the stuff wasn't true and she twisted a lot of my words around!) so when I went to confront her about it she went all ballistic on me and said we weren't friends anymore. So I sent her an e-mail telling her off. We haven't talked since... but I just found out that she told some girl I don't even know that I had slept with the girls boyfriend... As much as it pisses me off, I do'nt know if I should write her about it or just let it go?

It sounds like she has a guilty conscience about her bad behavior with guys (promiscuity) so she's projecting on to you (for instance, lying about you sleeping with somone's boyfriend).

You may be "pissed off" now, but if you just let this so-called friendship go, you will see in a few years how twisted it was that you even care, and how strange it was that you'd even call a person like this a friend, much less a "best friend."
