I know an Indian family who migrated to the Philippines. They claim that Indian men are faithful (as husbands) because of their faith. Is it because there's a horrible punishment if you break the law/teaching that makes them fearful?

I guess you cannot generalize about any man that he will act in a particular way if he belongs to a particular nation. Every person is different and this is true for ppl of all sex, creed, nationality and religion. It depends on an individual and you cannot have the same opinion (unlike my other friends who are advocating a single belief as being generic!).

not all indian men are faithful! actually I know somebody who is cheating to his wife, he works overseas while his wife is on India. they are also like some other guys in the world that some are faithful & some aren't... and i doubt about the punishment thingy u are talking about, i don't think there's such thing in Indian government/hindus that they will punished or put cheaters on jail.

i doubt it as all indian men r also ordinary ppl.to err is human.yes according to the indian faith one will be punished if one behaves in a manner which r not suitable for any married man.but will it deter men from being faithful? ;0

It is not true. Law or no law they cheat in relationships just like the rest of the men in the world. They are probably the most controlling race of men in the world. Don't make very good husbands, boyfriends etc.

I live in India and from what I read in the papers there is a lot of cheating and improper behavior that goes on here. I am not saying it is more than other places in the world - just that these guys are definitely not perfect!

It could be.. if they were raised from babies to adulthood believing this.. but you know what?? a man is a man no matter what culture or race and I believe that if given the chance..uhmmmm they would cheat.. sorry but being trough hell with men I just don't believe that theory. but of course is just my opinion. good luck.

I have no idea, but they sure smell up the place with that curry BO!
The real issue is the curry BO. Don't ignore it and pretend that the BO is not there. I should at least get a thumbs down.
