would it be wrong of me to send my ex an email an tell him how i feel to see if there is any chnce for us before i move on??

I have a question about what you would do If you were me. My brother is 22 and has not always made the best choices in his life. He had a drug problem was in the hospital for it and about died but thank God he made it through it. Well my grandparents have always favored my brother. They buy him whatever he wants and do what he wants. He just recently got engaged...and my granparents bought the ring and he moved out of the state to live the girl and my grandparents are paying for everything and my bro does not work never has. If I ever ask for anything they never have the money for me...which I know they do. They criticize me all the time for things..such as going out with friends...they don't think I should. Well what would you do if this was your grandparents? I just want advice and no stupid answers. I have thought about talking to them about it but I know they won't listen to me about how i feel...So my question is what would you do?

I've been with my girlfriend almost 3 months (but knew her for some time before that), and the relationship started in a fairly dramatic way. She had been dating another guy at the time, and they had been going out for 2 years.
Now we are together and truly love each other, but she tells me her ex keeps sending her emails and bothering her, and really wants to meet. She has asked me if she should meet with him to convince him to leave her alone, and she says she wants to convince her ex that she really loves me.
What do you think I should tell her?

i am 28 fed up with the long term abuse of my mum, i have moved out, i have confronted her, but its 'all my fault' according to her, she still verbally put me down everytime i call her, to stop seeing her, should i write a letter, or call her, or just disappear?

I love my husband VERY much. We have been married almost 7 yeaars, I have no plans of leaving but in the past 7 years he has steadily gained weight and I find it a huge turn off. He has gained apprx. 50 lbs. it has hurt our sex life, because of my feelings on the subject. I have been supportive of his attemps at weight loss but it seems as though he just buys a lot of 'stuff' and never follows through with any of it. It gets expensive which adds more stress to the situation. I try not to be insulting and don't think I am. I try to be positive throughout all of his attempts, each attempt has been his idea. I rearrange meals I cook for the family to fit a healthier lifestyle for him but he just gives up always within 6 months. I am blessed to have never had weight problems and I am trying to be understanding but this is a real problem for me. What do I do?

My fiance's birthday is just 4 days before we get married (and mine is just the day before we get married). So do I look at getting him a birthday present instead of a wedding present or a wedding present instead of a birthday present.

Or do I get a joint present for both or maybe one birthday present and one wedding present.

My wife is staying at her mom's one story house because of a badly broken leg. I work from 3am to noon, which would leave my 14 year old step-son alone until around 7:30am, at which time I would have taken him to school during my lunch break. My wife (and the rest of the females in her family) will not accept him being alone during these hours. As a result, her ex-husband is living with me so that he can take care of him. Even if I were able to switch to an 8 to 5 shift, she wouldn't allow him to take a bus for fear of him being kidnapped/molested at the bus stop (there has never been any personal experience or otherwise with this). So in order to keep peace in the family, I'm forced to live with her ex, who at first was staying on a temporary basis but now is going to give up his apartment and move in, and this is really affecting my sanity and that she totally doesn't have any respect for my feelings. This leaves with with only two options: accept it, or move out. Yer thoughts?

My family is seriously religious, like church on Sundays and Wednesdays and Bible class on Tuesdays, I did all of that growing up. I never believed in any of it and when I moved out I stopped going all together. My parents recently found out I don't believe in God and they now refuse to speak to me. I've never been close to my parents and don't actually care if I talk to them again out not, but they have also cut me off from my younger brother, who I was good friends with. Any advice on how to convince them to let me see him.

I have a friend, and I'm trying to work out if he likes me as more. He seems to have shown some signs, but he's shy so it's very hard to tell. There have been a couple of things that particularly puzzled me recently. The other day we were both at a mutual friend's house for dinner. For the first half of the evening he didn't really look at me, but for the second half of the evening he mostly made eye contact with me. Why was that? Also, I'd mentioned a photo of me on Facebook. He isn't on Facebook, but he told me a couple of days later that he'd seen the photo of me - he'd been looking on his friend's Facebook account. What should I make of these things?

I bought a 3 stone engagement ring for my g/f today and wanted to know if anyone knew if this was a good deal or not. Here are some stats:

Shape/Cut: Radiant Cuts
Weight: 1 1/2 Carat TW
Color: H-I

The ring itself is 14k White gold.

The price was $3,600 before tax. Was this a good deal? I'm hoping it is, the ring looks beautiful. I bought it at a Crescent Jewelers and it came with DGLA Certificate.
