My fiance's birthday is just 4 days before we get married (and mine is just the day before we get married). So do I look at getting him a birthday present instead of a wedding present or a wedding present instead of a birthday present.

Or do I get a joint present for both or maybe one birthday present and one wedding present.

And for those that want to know - yes we thought about how close all the dates were when we set the date.

But I just want ideas for this year

he's already expecting "sexy underwear on the wedding night" I would get him a birthday gift as you normally would and get him something more meaningful for the wedding gift.
I am putting together, not so much a scrapbook but a personalized photo album of our memories before our wedding. Kind of like a first chapter or first step kind of thing.
hope this helped!

The possibilities are endless. Take your pick. Why not both of you agree to forego a birthday present just this once, and call it a wedding present? You've created a difficult situation for years to come. Didn't you think about that when you set the date??

This is akin to the birthday right around Christmas scenario. Please tell me you're not getting married around Christmas too.
both occassions are seperate events. I would personally buy a gift for both occassions.
