I did a reverse lookup and the number is unpublished it`s a land line owned by pacific bell and it is in palo alto Ca.

650 area code definitely is not palo alto.
650 is the San Mateo County -> the Bay Area -> Nor Cal.
I used to live there.
and Palo Alto is a good 1-3 hour drive.
So definitely not palo alto.

There are web sites that you can use a reverse look up of the persons # and it will tell you whos number it is. One of the websites I know is anywho.com.

my first guess is, you saw this number on your bf's phone and suspect he's fooling around...my advice is, ask him...if you trust him, accept what answer he gives...if you don't trust him, start looking elsewhere...
