a guy I've known for almost 2 years gave me a bouquet of 9 red roses, 3 white roses and 16 orange roses for my birthday. Is he trying to say something through the roses? What does the combination etc mean? Does he want to take our friendship to the next level?

My Mom's 46th birthday is coming up, and I don't know what to get her. She's gone through (and is still going through) an emotionally distressing divorce. I want to get something meaningful, yet in expensive- but I don't know what. She's not much of a "material" person, and doesn't really like jewlerly... loves to cook, etc. Any suggestions? I like a friend of mine, something happened between us several times, at the begining I didn't feel something more than a sexual attraction, but now I feel the difference...It's so beautiful, particular, special... I belive he thinks the same.
But he told me he didn't want to go any further anymore because maybe HE could mess up everything. I don't understand... I can see he's very sweet with me from the day he told me so, he jokes a lot with me i have the feeling he tries to show me he likes me very much. the problem is that he's very shy, he's single but distant, and I am not the kind of girl who makes pressure towards someone, so I leave him his space. he doesn't talk about me to his friends, nobody knows.. (I think)
But a couple of days ago he began again to take my hand in his...then we just hugged, I did nothing more cause in front of me he seems to be lost... But I can feel his desire and his affection towards me... so why does he do that? What can I do? I want him.

My husband of 11 years is an excellent provider, a hard worker, faithful, and dependable in a crisis or significant event. However, I feel extremely neglected. I have been crying myself to sleep over this at least 3 nights a week for about the past 6 months. If I tell him that I feel this way, he responds that I need to get my own set of friends. If I talk to him about work, he just puts whatever the issue or problem is in my own lap. For instance, he said "Well, she pays you to put things in perspective for her. Your job is to handle her. You're not doing a very good job." This is in response to my boss complaining all the time about insignificant issues with my staff (taking an extra 2 minutes for lunch, literally, trust me - she's a B!) I have little to no emotional support from him. He is absolutely not a friend to me. I've made multiple appointments with a counselor but he is always to busy to go. What should I do?

worst i don't even think she likes me as a friend anymore. i miss her, and can't bear thinking she might hate me. she use to like me back but i think she hates me now bc i got mad at her and said i didn't want to talk anymore, then said it wasn't her fault, that i was just stressed out, but she hasn't returned my e-mail. now she has a boyfriend. i have good friends and a life i am grateful for, but i feel so depressed bc i want a life with this girl. i just turned 24 and i think now i'll be alone forever. how can i feel better about this?

I have a nephew who is married and has three children. Every time we (the family) turn around we learn of yet another ridiculous event or situation their kids (ages 7, 4, 2) have been in. Example: the 4yr old girl running down the street whenever they exit the car, or hitting her Mother and saying "NO", or getting lost in Wal-Mart. I could go on and on with the stories. The 7 yr old boy is a stepchild to my nephew, and he obviously has serious emotional problems too. And the two yr old is starting to act like the older ones. It is so obvious that these two nitwits have no clue on how to parent correctly, but how do you go about telling them? Any advice would be appreciated. p.s. We have talked about Supernanny/Nanny 911

well ive known my boyfriend for 4 years and i really know hes my "one." me andhim have went through some tuff times together...& we're still together.
and i really want to spend the rest of my life with him, my parents met him and ive met his mom already, hes dad past away when he was little (R.I.P PETER)
well next year hes going to be turning 18 and i'll be turning only 16, but i know we are both ready he is going to get an apartment and he has a job...
but the problem is my parents! i dont know if they will go with the "idea."

My husband and I have been married for 2 years (this weekend). We have one son, who is 8 months old. We both dont want him to be an only child, but since our son has been born, it is been very difficult on us. I know a baby puts a strain, my life has completely changed, i am a stay home mom now and my husband goes out to work. He does TRY to help when he gets home and on the weekends does get up to do the feedings. I am going to be 37 and scared.I love my husband very much and would not want to jeapordize it with another child...are we being selfish?

I was with Adamfor a year and 8 months and then we broke up 'casue he cheated. then I met another guy with whom I've been three months with and I was absolutely crazy about him but it didn't work out. Since me and Adam broke up, which was 5 months ago, we still talk a couple of times a day. I know he's really in love with me and can't imagine being with another girl. I love him to, can't image not talking to him everyday. I'm thinking about maybe getting back with him but I'm not attracted to him sexually. I don't want to have sex with him like at all. I keep rejecting him. I don't know if it's because I was with the other guy and it's just too soon (we broke up a month ago) or i don't find him desirable. For now he's not desirable ti me at all.
