That's not cool to let someone else down just because you don't want to be the laughing stock at school. Don't listen to the racist thing that the girl said. That's the only thing people can think to say to try to make you feel even worst. Give him a chance,he's probably a cool guy.

You probably want to say no because you dont want people, especially your friends, seeing you going out with him. But does it really matter? Interracial relationships are more welcomed today than before. Or maybe he just wanted to dance with you because he wants to make friends.
But if you really dont like him, tell him that you already have a dance partner.

I think that if you actually like the guy that it shouldn't matter what other people think... i mean people are gonna laugh and talk all they want to anyways.... i mean just imagine all the women who turned Bill Gates or Donald Trump down because of their appearance... i bet the feel pretty damn stupid....... but as you get older you will come to find that beauty is in the eye of the beholder... who cares!!

i know how you feel, but it doesn't matter what other people think, i know it can be hard sometimes to avoid it, but remember it is your life. you need to ask yourself do i like this guy? is he cute? if you want to go to the dance with him GO! im sure you will have a great time! but if not tell him your parents won't let you go, or you have somewhere you have to go that night, or your sick there are plenty of things you can say. good luck
