why do girls in my school?

get asked out so much and i dont. even the ugliest girls are dating now but noone said a word to me. guys are really nice and i get great compliements on my looks from teachers only. i even made it to thh miss teen state finalist. what am i doing wrong

perhaps it's because you're attractive and popular, so most guys assume you're already taken. then there are some guys who are just afraid. perhaps you should try dropping hints along the way.

The guys are actually intimidated by you. I went through the same horrible experience in junior high through high school. Plus I was really shy so I wasn't told this until it was almost too late. I thought "man, I get so many compliments, but the guys won't ask me out." You'll actually appeciate it later. Enjoy yourself, you don't need to be in anything serious right now anyway, although you probably wanna be anyway. Everything will fall into place at the right time. Whatever u do just don't "put yourself out there" they guys may not act like it but they will respect u more and the girls will be so jealous cause they are putting out.

Very often guys assume that the very pretty girls are taken and often then think by the captain of the football team, which is why the guys are always nice to you but don't ask you out. The don't think they have a chance with you or they think your big boyfriend from another school will kick their butt if they approach you.

Sometimes the prettiest girls have to be a bit more assertive to catch the attention of the guys they are interested in.

First of all do not smoke to look cool. Guys are VERRRRRY afraid of rejection plus they may find you unapproachable. That is to say if you are not very outgoing and friendly they may think you are stuck up. Try joking and kidding around a little and they will know that you are not conceited. Good looking people male or female are harder to approach. Laughter and light heartiness works real well. Everyone loves a sense of humor.

it really sounds like you have some issues right now. a guy will be attractive to inner beauty, but i don't see any in you based on the question.

Try asking them out, maybe they are afraid you'll say no, maybe some girls get asked out cos they are known for certain things, who knows. If you like a guy and hes nice, ask him out. He can only say no. Don't worry you have plenty of time for dating when you are older.
