The women I have run accross lately seem to have no concept of romance. Do women these days think men are just heartless pieces of meat? Do they not long for romance? Do then even know what ramance is? My last girl friend thought I was crazy for buying her flowers once a week. She never understood why I would want ot light candels, set a mood and then give her a massage. She never understood the poety I sent her daily. It was like the concept of being cherrished whole heartly by a man was as forgien to her as walking on the moon. Have women changed that much over the past 20 years?

I have recently started having an affair with a very good friend of mine who has seperated from his abusive, alcoholic wife. It started as offering of advice and listening to his troubles, but has developed into something wonderful. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Don;t say he is on the rebound because I know when I look into his eyes he thinks a great deal of me, it isn;t just comfort sex. Do you think I should wait for his divorce to come through, or is it okay to be going out with him when he is only seperated? We all live in a small town, people talk.... help!

i drink a lot, and i mean A Lot of soda pop in order to stay up and get everything i need to get done finished.. i drink it for the caffiene. however, i have gotten tolerant and addicted i guess, because now my body requires around 3 cans of soda in order to give me the boost of energy i need to stay awake. so is soda pop really Better for you than just drinking coffee? because i have heard that it is a lot better, which is why i choose to just drink the 3-4 cans necessary a night of pop to stay awake. but is this really that bad for my body.. and what sort of problems can it lead to? and can you die from drinking too much soda? any ideas on the whole soda thing would help immensely!!! thanks in advance!

Ok.. we go way back..i mean 6 years! we started off liking eachother in the 6th grade. and i mean LOVED off. we were kind of together but we were young kids in love. In 10th grade he liked me allllllllot! and even asked me out repeativly but i was too shy to answer. When i said yes, he didnt seem too serious. Anyways, now were in 12th grade and were good friends but he still rememebres and brings up memories from 6th grade and talks about how he wished he had gone out with me and he always comes near me and hes just gigivng me these vibes. I was just wondering if you guys think it sounds like he might still have feelings for me because of these signs?.. P.S: he has first period spare and i dont, but he still makes me pick him up first period so we can walk to school together.. Help

He can't let go of who I was before he met me. I partied alot and wasn't a virgin. He was a virgin and not a partier. He tell me how horrible I was and am. He tells me no matter what I do, he'll still see that in me. Weve been together for two yrs, the fight is always horrible. I'm upset and lost. I don't know what to do? I love my mom dearly, but I feel she is very jealous of me. She wasnt supportive of me in high school sports, she always complains when I need to borrow $ (WHICH ISNT THAT OFTEN AND I ALWAYS PAY HER BACK), she has renigged on agreements her and I have made numerous times and she is always 'unavailable' when I tell her I need a big or huge favor. I cater to her every need and I feel every year we are growing further apart... what can I do?
I dont want to have to cut her off, but that is what my heart and my best of friends tell me to do. I dont want her to hurt me anymore...

once in awhile I get really sad and miss my high school boyfriend. We went out all thru high school and for some stupid reason we broke up (we don't even remember) and he went off to Iraq and we didn't talk for like a year or two and we have been for about a year now and I really miss him and wonder what it would be like if we never broke up. I'm just scared I'm gonna wanna get back together with him. I love my husband and my daugher very much, but I dont love my husband the way I love my ex. Does this make a bad person?

we have a relationship for about a year and 3 months now. i love him with all my heart. he used to live by himself but becuase of his situation he had to move back home, so now since he has a curfew and all that he has to live with his parents rule, well we dont see each other as much. i miss him soo much. its kind of stupid since i see him like every 2 or 3 days, but i used to see him everyday for almost most of the day. now it feels different. its just thing feeling that we are not ment to be. but waht really hurts me is that i love him so much, we struggled to be together alot, we stuggled to stay together and i just love him soo much. now it feels like if hes a different person, but hes not, he still acts the same and everything. thsi feeling i got was after a fight we had wich he didnt come to see me for about 3 days, i kind of felt it after that. i trust him so im not even asking u guys to tell me if hes cheating or not. just help me out and give me some advice please.

So I asked her to the Semi-Formal (dinner and dance) coming up, I was so happy when she replied yes! Today was the day to buy tickets and when I went to buy both of our tickets she refused to let me buy hers! We argued a little and then she jumped in front of me and bought hers! I'm 16 and I was at my lakehouse this weekend, and so was this not-so-cue guy in my school. There was nothing to do, so we made out and did some more. But now that I'm back at school he keeps calling me and calling me "honey" and "baby". I just want hi to leave me alone, I was just bored! What do I do? Okay, so here it is:
I think my husband's best friend is totally hot! I know I can't go there, but mmmm....
He's really flirtatious with me too! So that makes it twice as hard! I would never cheat on my husband, EVER! Because I believe our vow is sacred.
But, I didn't gouge out my eyes on my wedding day!

We all hang out quite often, so what's a girl to do? I even try throwing all my single girlfriends at him! I try avoiding him, but when he shows up at the house, I can't help but blush.
Does anyone else have similar stories to share so that I don't feel like such a heel? Am I the only one in the world with a problem like that?
Does the addage: "I may be on a diet, but I can still look at the menu" hold true?
Please tell me I'm not alone!

I man that I love tells me that he can not be with me. He's been divorced for 2 years now. He had a girlfriend last year, but she cheated on him. He works a lot, and has 2 kids (10 and 16). We are 'active'. He might be leaving in a few weeks for training and will not be back for a year. I want him to know that I really like him, and I'm willing to wait for him. He's 37 and I'm 24.
He kissed me on my forehead once.
Sometimes he kisses me repeatedly (pecks).
Sometimes he brings me a plate of food that he cooked for dinner.
He called today while he was at the store and said "what size shoes does your son wear?" - It was shocking, and then he told me they were having a sale.

I don't know if he's using me for sex or if he just doesn't want to be with me. I'm confused, but I love him.
