My wife is very verbally abusive. It started out small and got worse. In the beginning I was very calm but now I’ve started to fight back. I’ve started yelling back. She started up in on me when her parents were down (that they didn’t hear) and I laid into her. Now her parents think I’m the one that’s abusive even though they’ve taught her how to be the way she is. A man can only take so much. Now all she does is say how abusive I am when I was never like that. It seems to run in her family and I’m the one now who’s abusive and is looked down on like I don’t deserve to be with their family’s wonderful daughter. I feel like I’m being railroaded here and is this a common occurance among those of you who have been verbally abused? When you start yelling back are you then accused of being the bad guy? It’s insane. It’s like someone telling you that your whole world is wrong when you know it’s right.

He made it clear that he wanted a divorce, but at the same time he has bought a large truck(we have 5 kids), and is helping me to get a license so I can "drop him off and pick him up like the other wives" after work(he is military) I hadn't filed because i recently found out i was ill and can't get a job until i finish treament.

And brings up how he is living check to check and suffering now, but in a year will have his Masters degree and commanding a much higher salary...

How am I supposed to interpret that? Should I just take it for what it is and not find deeper meaning? Is he looking for a sugar mama (a woman to pay his bills)? Is he warning me not to expect any Valentine's day gifts? Or does this mean I'm 3rd or 4th on his rotation and that the funds are being spent with other women and I shouldn't expect to be taken out or anything for a long time.

Please help! I really like this guy but I'm tired of games. I'm willing to stick by him, broke or not, but I don't want to play myself.

i was to meet my bf, he said he loved me and missed me the night before but i had no idea what i was about to hear. it was a talk about 'us' i knew we argued lately, so we had a break for 4 days. I told him it really hurts me when we argue and he gets me to a point where i cry..is that love? maybe you love the idea of having a gf, but not me. he said yeah your right! i dont love you. i asked him to tell me the truth all this time 8 months? he said he used me for sex, didnt love me at all, he said ive changed, that all those promising letters and emails he wrote werent coming from his heart just from a great actor! i cried but he just laughed, i kissed him and he pushed me away. i told him i loved him and begged him but he didnt. since then i got a letter saying i love u, and always have - im not good enough or right for u. He had a talk with my friend and wants to meet meet me this sat for a talk. He broke my heart i dont know what to expect now if its more pain i cant bare to see him!

My boyfriend of 3 years, whom I live with, has regsitered on myspace and put himself as single. He has also said he doesn't want children even though he already has one!

My daughters 4th birthday party is coming up. Small party at my small apartment with a few family and friends. My sister and her kids will be there. Her son 6 1/2 is sometimes too full of energy Last yr on her birthday party he threw a fit cuz he wanted to open her presents and still attempted if someone looked away. And the last 2 Xmas has been like that too. He gets very overly excited, maybe he needs rittalin (sp). How should we handle him? I'm in the early stages of a friendship with a gal (divorced) that I think could lead to a very good relationship down the road. I know that she has been through a lot and her son has been through it as well. The son is highly intelligent and also very protective of her and the people she is around. I'm 14 and my family feels strongly about being christians and they're very religious I guess you could say.... I'm agnostic/atheist and there's no way in heck I would tell them... They act like if your not a christian your scum or something. I'm getting so sick of my mother saying don't do that its not christian-like when it's not even my religion! I'm forced to go to church also. I don't know what to do. I'm sick of having to follow rules of a religion im not a part of. Any suggestions? I'm just really frustrated.
