Of course, the fact you have a baby just means you made a mistake, we all do.

No. If he is not taking you serious now, he won't then. Plus, why would you want to have a baby with someone who is not serious about you? I thought people decide to have babies with the person they love and want to be with. If he is not mature enough to set things straight between the two of you and give you the love you deserve and promise to try to be your best lover, then he won't be so even after having a baby. He will abandon you and your kid and u will spend ur life as a single mom cuz he wont be a man abt it n wont take responsibility for it. And why would you want to have a baby at the age of 18. you're still a baby yourself. I'm not that much older than you, I'm 23, and my husband still sees me as a little kid.
Anyway, what matters is, u do not want to spoil ur life and share a baby with some1 who does not care about u. ur young now n when u grow up u will realize how naive and immture u were. You should decide to have a baby with someone who really loves and cares about u. best of lucks

You are too Young to be having kids. You are still a kid. Do you have a good job. Does he have a good Job. Can you two live on your own together? If not then how could you take care of a kid? Do you have the things you will need? Can you provide a good home? Think off all the things because this child is more important then you or the fathers relationship. If you can;t provide for it fully then do not have it. Go to school. Get a good job and that goes for him too. Get a home and have your finances set then talk about kids. You are to young to tie your life down.

Yes, only if you have respect for your self. don't have sex with him until you know where you stand. Because a lot of guys will not take you seriously, if you give it up, then they can start rumors saying how easy your are. But make sure they know the baby comes first. If they don't have the same idea then they are not worth it. And being 18 don't make you to young to have kids at lest you are not 14 with a kid. Believe me you can make it.

The issue is not the baby that you have. It has more to do with the maturity level of the guy than anything. It is unlikely a guy at 20 is ready to settle down.
You'd have better luck with guys who are closer or act closer to 30.

You want to have a baby as a teenager so a guy will take you seriously? You can't be serious.

how old is your baby? you should focus on being a mom for a while, instead of trying to jump in to a serious relationship. where's your baby's dad? did he not take you serious?

Yes, he will seriously RUN to the nearest Exit! Please don't have a baby just to be taken seriously. You have some years for that. Learn to love yourself, grow into a lovely person who loves/respects herself! Only then, will others learn to do the same with you.
All the best!
