It is traditional to get married on Saturday, but you can select any day of the week for your ceremony. Just keep in mind that if you select a day during the week many people may not be able to attend due to work.

Yes, it's acceptable I got married on a Monday. Didn't know that there was a law where you couldn't get married on a Monday.

Sure! My cousin got married on a Monday. I forget the reason why she had to do the wedding on a Monday, but I couldn't go, because I had to work.

Acceptable yes; Practical? NO

Most people work on Monday and you'll cause them many troubles for them to try to be there, beside being a working day traffic is also heavier at week days, and Tuesday is a working day and is hard to wake up on time to work if you were at a party all night.

Anyway it's your wedding and you can do it if you don't care to cause truble to your family and friends. But do not expect a big crowd and many happy people.

Why should it matter what day? You guys are starting a life together whether it be a saturday or a monday????? If you wanna get married, make everyone else work around your day.
Good luck

Why wouldn't it be! I got married on a Wednesday. I eloped though.
