I'm single for Valentine's Day but I have a lot of friends that I'm thinking of giving roses to including this girl in my class who I kind of like but I don't really know all that well. I don't really know if she is dating someone already and so I'm a little afraid of embarrassing myself. Should I give give roses to my friends anyway and to that girl? I'm not really interested in any relationships with any of my friends, another reason why i am hesitating.

and what does it mean if the man you were getting married to in 3 months...who has been over his ex wife for over a year....see's her and decides he still has feelings for her...and then he tells you that he's not in love with you..and loves you and then says he's not in love with either one of you, but loves you both....what the hell does that mean? Someone please help. I'm so confused.....Im just looking for the right answer....it's a long complicated situation....but what he said..does not make sense to me

The first night I slept over at my bf's house, after dating for months, he told me something odd. He said I looked so peaceful in my sleep that he felt it would be a crime to wake me. I asked him how long he was watching me, but he said it was just a glance. It's more than a glance if you are looking and thinking that along with other things. He's also said that I'm like good wine which I don't understand as I have never had a drink in my life. He makes sure I have money even when I don't need it and tell him. He's said he loves me a few times, but not much. He loves my children, that I know for sure. He is concerned about our age difference becuase I'm in my 20's and he's old enough to be my father. Is he serious and what does he mean by this, especially good wine? I am divorced and we met up again after years of being apart while I was still married. He told me "No matter who you marry and if you marry, you will always be mine". Stuff like that. What's up with him?

- not stopping when my or my kids say 'no, I am not having fun anymore' and he does't stop
- picking on me on a regular basis and making fun of me as a joke
- argues about my decisions and puts me in the position of defending myself and my decisions
- blaming the me for any personal conflicts between the two of us, often by calling me stubborn, senstive, etc.


What's up with this.. is this control? Bullying? What is your take on this?

He is not your usual mean person. He is together, sucessful, funny, handsome... I don't get it. When I stand up for myself he gets mad at me or thinks I am too sensitive.

Last night I was at my house with my best friends little sister, watching a movie, when she decides to go to the restroom. Amelia’s twenty-three and I’m twenty-seven, her brother and I go back to elementary school. I’ve known Amelia since the day she was born. We never really got along too well, she was always arguing about something and I was always telling her to shut the hell up. A few years ago we got into this big azz argument that I’m not even going to get into. Basically we weren’t talking for sometime…however after few long week we were back to arguing.
So, when she went to the bathroom I though I would pull a prank on her and scare her… I know stupid and a childish idea, but I didn’t think any harm would be done! And it was some form of pay back for what she did to me in the pass. Everyone’s done it before, hide in a dark corner and scares the hell out of the unexpected person. Well let me get to the point. My house is very big and can be pretty creepy at night. I waited until she was done in the bathroom and walking out down the dark hall, then I jump out and scared the crap out of her!

I guess I thought she would have laughed it off or try to punch me like always. Well she screamed really loud and punched me in the chest, and stormed off. I was laughing because I thought it was funny at the time. When I went back to the living room where we were watching a movie her back was tuned towards me, and her shoulders were shacking really badly. I was kind of shocked because she NEVER cries! And lets anyone see her at that. I don’t know what came over me but the next thing I knew I was on the sofa with Amelia in my lap while she sobbed, as I stroked her hair and back, telling her I was sooo sorry. It was like an hour later and she was still holding on to me crying hysterically. She cried until she was physically exhausted.
I don’t get it we do dumb crap like that all the time and she has NEVER cried before. I know it was a stupid, stupid thing to do, but could she be crying for another reason? Would you cry for something like that?

He doesn't seem interested in doing 'stuff' anymore or really interested in me at all. I get a kiss before he leaves for work, that's about it. I had a lot of problems while I was pregnant, including gestational diabetes, which I had to be on a strict diet for..so it's not like I just pigged out all the time. I didn't eat unhealthy at all, I just have a realllllly low metabolism and had bad edema which caused me a lot of pain and I couldn't walk a lot..

I feel so horrible and ugly. I'm trying to hard to lose it, but I get embarrassed when my husband looks at me because I feel so bad about myself now. I know looks aren't everything, but when it's such a huge difference, I have to wonder how it's possible for my husband to still be attracted to me. I want him to 'want' me like he used to, now it's been over two weeks and he's not been even slightly interested.. I can't say I blame him. What do I do? (I know I need to start by losing weight so don't bother telling me that..) Thanks.

Like, when I first started dating my bf, one year ago, Everything he said made me feel so good, and now, it seems like what he says doesnt matter anymore to me. An old colleague and travel bud has invited me to her wedding. I lived abroad for years, and have been home for six months. Since I got back she has turned down my (email) requests to catch up, even though we live in the same city. I will know no one at her wedding, and the invitation was for me only, no extra guest. I was messing around with my boyfriends cell phone and I happened to run across a girls name in his "contact" list
I know mostly everyone he hangs around with and to my knowledge he doesnt hang around many girls.
what do you think about this? could he be cheating?
To make things more suspicious the prefix of the phone is from a city where he claims to not know anyone.
i find this weird because he has never mentioned this girl to me before like he does with all his other friends.

my bf and i of over 2 years just agreed to take a break til how ever long he feels like. i view takign a break as only temporary where as breaking up it permanent? am i right? he doesnt see a difference

we both agreed to it although im not happy with it. he says theirs a good chance at gettign back together.. we are takign a break to focus on work and school for a while. he is just overwhelmed with alot of stuff right now. and please dont say its cause he wants other women!
