I asked a girl out at work awhile ago. She didn't want to go out with me. Okay, I can live with that. So now I ignore her. She's been pretty unfriendly to me since then by throwing smart-*** condescending comments (but occasiionally looks with interested glares...weird). I asked why she dislikes me and she told me I was too cocky (she also didn't like my "cocky" walk (wtf?). Why does it bother her if I'm unintentionally "cocky"? Is she acting like a little girl who teases people they like or just being a spoiled brat seeking attention? How can I resolve this situation @ a workplace?

my family is driving me crazy with all this drama,and m gettin stressed out bad. my dad family keep starting stuff with each other and my dad keep sayin it was me that started it. i havnt said nothing about nobody and i dont even talk to my dad side of the family. but i keep gettin cursed of and yelled at all the time for other people doing stupid stuff. my dad is a drunk. im tired of gettin blamed for everyone else's faults and wromg doing's. i tried to tell my mom and dad that i didnt start nothing and i keep gettin yelled at for givin the phone to my cousin (and i didnt even give it to him). i dont know what to do.. im only 15. i wont to move out but i have no where to go. im stressed out and i dont know what to do.
my cousins broke each others phones and they called my phone and was tellin me about it then my cousin alexis ask where was our cousin and i gave the phone to our cousin then all the drama just started happening and im tired of gettin put in the middle. i need advice??

I thought I would be nice because he turns 54 this month, so I took him and anyone else he wanted out to dinner. It cost a small fortune and I paid the entire bill.
While we were eating, his mother starts blabbing about his ex wife and their kids. On and on and on and on. So what was the point?
Frankley, I am sick of hearing about his ex wife. I cant go anywhere with him without hearing about this woman. They have been divorced since 2000. She is re married.
He has never met nor do I ever discuss my ex husband. Its a mute point.
Why does everyone insist on talking about his ex wife. Isnt it a little disrespectful of me and my adult children? We dont give a crap about this woman. Should I just shut up and suck it up?

I am in school and work full time and live on my own. I want atleast a year before we get married to take care of my bills, figure out vacations for work ( not eligible to receive vacation until 7 months from now), and have time to save money to get all the things we want for the wedding; however she wants it earlier (in 5 to 7 months) becuase she says she is tired of waiting and wants to be with me already. I just feel that if we wait we will be better prepaid financially and have alot more time to take care of little things and not rush in getting everything ready for the big day.

my husband is dangerous he is mean and i have tried to get away but it always falls thru i have no car or money i do not have a place to go katrina took the shelter and i do own my late grandfathers house our area is not helpful to abused women i have put him in jail numerous times for hitting me he is bipolar nice for only a brief time he thinks he is a good person he gets fired from every job he gets i am his 4 th wife he calls me names in front of the children i throw him out of the house and call the police then he always comes back police do nothing the womens abuse center has not been helpful i have been in shelters in texas and florida not a good thing sometimes worse off then being at home with himi am 48 now and cannot bear the thought of being struck with this awful man for the rest of my life my mom cannot help me she is in senior citizen home care and crys over this no peace now he is not working and i am disabled and with him 24 hours a day in the same room help please

ya so i got in a nasty moto-x crash trying to do a triple jump and fell...and ive been feeling like a load of crap. and me and this guy were flirting and we went riding and to laguna for the weekend together and it felt like it was going to be something more then ehen we went riding nd i got in this crash he freaked out, got worried and called to check on me a lot but then now he basically ignores me...i give up....so any guys want to just chat or anything? 18/f ...lame i know. but i need some one to cheer me up.

Is this totally unheard of, or is it just me. Do parents usually get jealous by their own child's accomplishments. Its a sad fact, but my own mother hates to see me succeed at anything. Because of this, I feel like maybe having a close relationship with her will never actually happen. Is this a common trend.

What is his problem? my friend and i went to chilis for dinner and i flirted w/our waiter the whole night. when he gave me my reciept back he wrote his number on it saying "bye cutie call me" so i texted him we text back and forth for awhile, next day i called him he was at work was suppose to call me when he got off but never did... then i saw him at work when we went up there for drinks then we started texting again but that was it...and today i tried calling him..no answer...wth is his problem? Should i just leave the boy alone? why would he give me his number to begin with if he isn't even going to talk?

ok, there is a girl that i'd like to ask to prom. I'm a junior and she's a sophomore, therefore she won't be going unless another junior or senior asks her. I'm not positive but I don't think anyone has. She's a really sweet christian girl, has a great personality, she laughs a lot and she's also very pretty. We have two classes together and we talk. She's a cheerleader and I'm somewhat of a nerd. I have a lot of friends, but I don't think of myself as everyone's dream date. I would like to know first how to ask her because I'm kind of shy. But what I'm worried about more than that is ensuring she has a good time while we're there, maybe good enough to go out with me. My main problem is that I'm not that funny, and I don't really know how to dance, plus since she is a christian she probably won't want to do the new dancing which is basically sex with clothes on. And even if she does I don't think I would want to because I'm a christian also and I don't agree with that type of dancing.
