does this mean there is more to the relationship.the reason i ask is because i have noticed that someone i know smiles at me quite often when we are talking and also maintains eye contact for pretty much the whole time. would a man do this with a woman if he didn't like her?sometimes i do see him look at me quickly too or for a few secs and we'll just look into eachothers eyes until i look away.what do you think.does he like me and please dont say ask him.

I've been going out with this guy for 3 months. Everything was fine until last Saturday. I went out with a friend of mine at night. "Just girls" night. After having some beers in a few clubs, we headed to a club down his flat. We were a bit drunk and decided to call him on the entry phone. He got so angry and hung up. I tried to speak to him yesterday but he wouldn't answer the phone. Two guys (friends of mine) have told me this is a common reaction among males... I can't stand it anyway. I'm determined to wait a few days but my patience has got a limit. Any other advice? I'm getting furious!

i liked this guy in the 1st and 2ed quarter.but then he found out which made things uneasy.so then 4 days later i confronted him saying that i didn't like him.i don't know if he bought it or not but atleast now were talking again.but whenever im in the same room as him i start blushing.so now i don't know if i still like him or not.

I'm at a crossroads with my best friend. I've known her for almost 7 years. We recently had a bad fight because I decided against living in an apartment with her.

I never saw it before but she can be so bossy and controlling to the point of being obnoxious with it at times. We can be ourselves with one another 80% of the time and we have a lot of fun. She's very eccentric and likes to stay up till wee hours, even if she has to drag me through the night when we hang out. The other day i just called to say hi while I was at work and she's like "Oh you need to check your email I'll let you know when I'm at work and when I'm not." WTH?

I actually feel sorry for her and don't have the heart to tell her this because I know she'll get upset about it. Also, I know when i decide to move out with my boyfriend she's going to hit the roof in a jealous fit. I have to distance myself NOW or..I don't want to break contact with her but how can I imply that I need space from her?

Over the past 10 years or so I have ask this question to many of my female freinds. In the end ever one of them has admited to having lesbian thoughts. From my "investigation" most of the time it is about a best friend. I had one girl who would always say she had never ever had these kind of thoughts but on the last day I worked with her she came up to me and told me she had and they were about her best friend. I was moving to another state so I guess that made her feel better about telling me. I know my wife has. In fact when we were in our mid 20's she even went to a strip bar and got 2 lap dances from females. She wanted to take one home but I had to explain to her that it did not work that way in those places.

i have a 13 year old son who has a hard time letting his step father help him in anythnig he does.our son has a i dont care attuite and we cant figure out how to get him apast that,we try doing lots of things with the boy. but when he dont get his way he gets grounded like any other child.and then one thing leads to another and he dont care. he has been lying and steeling .smoking be hind our backs .he knows we cant hit him and when he is grounded he dont care .i dont think he will get to play with any friends from school as he is grounded so much..any one can you give me some tips..

I'm 33 and I have been single for almost 7 years - since separating from my ex-wife. And it's been over 3 years since my last date. I am somewhat shy about meeting new people to begin with and after so little activity in so many years I'm in even worse shape.

The main problem I have now is I live in a relatively small community with very little in the way of a night life. In fact, it seems there is very little in the way of a public social scene period. I've tried some of the on-line personals sites but there are only a small handful of listings - like less than 10 - in reasonably close proximity (less than 30-45 minutes).

I do know there are plenty of women in the community - even presumably single women - because I see them at work all the time. I just don't know where to find them away from work.

I could really use a female's perspective on how I can at least improve my chances of meeting someone.

i really need help, i will explain this as simple as i can.
i have a boyfriend of 4 years.

i have 2 best friends (boy and girl) who are going out with eachother.

now my best (boy) friend said to me last night that he doesnt know if he loves his girlfriend anymore and thinks he loves me more! i really dont know what to do! he said he has felt this for a while and has told his sisters. there is a strange spark between us but i would never act on it because i love my boyfriend and also i would never do anything to hurt my best girl friend

i dont know weather i should tell MY boyfriend about this because we are ALL friends. and if i should tell my best (girl) friend what her boyfriend said to me.

i also need to know how to let him down gently, i do like him, no-one can help liking someone, but nothing can ever happen as i love my boyfriend too much and i dont want anything to happen. but i still want us to be best friends. and i dont want everyone falling out!!

me and my friend of 11 years moved to a new school in september. since then she has had a personality change for the worst. she constantly tuts and huffs and puffs especially if i try and talk to other people in an attempt to make new friends. she is always complaining or bitching about one person or another and generally jus embarassing me. she used to be quite a bubbly happy person until we entered this new environment and i have always stayed a loyal friend to her, however, she has often ignored me for months in favour of, as she saw it, more entertaining people. she doesnt seem to want to make any new friends and is really horrible to me if i try to speak to other people so i generally try to not speak to people i would like to chat with just to keep the peace. however, now she has decided she wants to go to the same university as me in dublin, ireland and seems intent on following me there. my life is a living hell. what can i do

I'm getting married Feb. 9, 2008 and I'm trying to start planning a color scheme. But, I can't decide what to do! We don't want a Valentine's Day themed wedding because we both think its kind of cheesy, even though we're having it right near V-Day. We want to stick with a winter theme...lots of sparkle, white xmas lights, candles, very elegant. I'm thinking of using black, red, silver and white as our colors. What do you all think? Do they go good together? Obviously, I'm going to wear pure white...bridesmaids I'm thinking of putting in black because i love how elegant it is...and I'm thinking red flowers...and lots of silvery decorations. I'm 14 and i got my first boyfriend 5 days ago. Him and I are both really shy about relationship stuff. He was the one that asked me out and I've loved him for almost 2 years. Since he asked me out does he expect that I'm going to make the first move like hold his hand. I havent yet and I don't know how I should because he sits with his friends at lunch (i want him to sit with me but i dont know how i should) and i only have recess 3 times (this week 2 times) a week because im busy. But even then he only comes over to me every couple of minutes. He might come over in 2 weeks becuase it gets dark here very quickly and i want him over on a weekend. Plus i go to my dads every other weekend and he lives 45 minutes away. So, how do i reach out to hold his hand, am i not protective of him enough, and how can i not lose him.
