does this mean there is more to the relationship.the reason i ask is because i have noticed that someone i know smiles at me quite often when we are talking and also maintains eye contact for pretty much the whole time. would a man do this with a woman if he didn't like her?sometimes i do see him look at me quickly too or for a few secs and we'll just look into eachothers eyes until i look away.what do you think.does he like me and please dont say ask him.

Sometimes that could be that he just has respect for you. But on the other hand, it could very well mean that he is very interested in you and can't seem to take his eyes off of you. Ask him out for some coffee sometime, or tea, or whatever you enjoy. If he says YES, then while you are out, talk to him about his interests and talk to him a little, NOT A LOT, about his personal life, like: girlfriend, if not, when was the last one and what happened? Things like that. You can tell by the way that he talks if he is interested. If he still talks to you without trying to brush it off, he is interested. Maybe you just need to take the first step and start asking him out. He may be shy and just needs more confidence.

Ok as for talking and making eye contact and smiling. No this means he enjoys talking to you about the topic of conversation. The looking for a few secs and making eye contact without converstation sounds like he likes you though.

That's hard to say...I always smile at people when I am talking to them and maintain eye contact; it's good communication skills.
However, the smiling and looking into each others eyes from afar could mean there is an attraction there!

When you "connect" like that, it's like getting a glimpse of the other person's soul. How long the connection lasts may determine how much attraction there is to you as a PERSON and vice versa. Smiling means you are comfortable in each other's company. I see this as admiring each other for who you are. You definately can't beat that. Where it goes from there is entirely up to the two of you.

Yes. He likes you. Pretty much any contact with men when they smile a lot and look you in the eyes means that they like you. They are not hard to figure out!

It sounds like he does! Men and women don't smile and maintain eye contact unless they're really in to you. Another thing is, most people also try and smile and maintain eye contact because it's good manners and it shows they're interested in what you have to say etc..so I'd say go for it!

Usually, when a man smiles at a woman, it is because they like them. It definitely sounds like he likes you here, especially because of what you said about the eye contact. I think he likes you a lot.

He may like you, but then he may just be friendly. It's a courtesy to look someone in the eyes and smile during conversation. It shows your're listening. I wouldn't take it too seriously. Wait it out.

Most definately I would think he finds you attractive. People wouldn't stare at someone they find unattractive. Well okay maybe they would stare but they wouldn't stare and smile. I say go for it and smile back. Good Luck!
